What a great thread. I really enjoyed reading about everyone's screen names.
I have the worst memory in the world so when I came here I thought I better keep it really simple. Jess is the beginning of my first name and Lala is the name my brother called me when he was a baby because he couldn't say my name (and then my father called me that for the rest of his life). When I joined AdamOfficial when it opened, I created a name I thought was clever and then forgot to write it down. For the life of me I can't remember it! So now I try to use Jesslala for everything.
Someone mentioned earlier the cell casts from Idol tour. I laughed because I remember sitting and listening to them at each tour stop. It truly was like they were recorded under water. Now I know that whenever and wherever Adam performs that I'll probably be able to download a hi-def video within 12 hours (usually sooner). Bravo fans. You're the best!

WOW!!! Now I'm wondering what did your DH think of Adam??? Happy, he LOVED him and enjoys Adam's voice as much as I do! My hubby has supported my Adam addiction all these years and patiently puts up with my "fan-girling". He makes sure our daughters and I get to any show within a semi-reasonable distance--even making sure we got to Vegas for Adam and Queen! He says seeing us so happy makes him happy. DH hasn't attended a concert....YET! But the entire family is going to Winstar for New Year's Eve! I'm truly a lucky woman. Well, that deserves a DOUBLE WOW!!! What a wonderful husband you have! I hope you all enjoy the concert. And please keep posting ... I can't wait for your recap! |

I was eating pineapple at the time I joined, and my grandmother's name was Ophelia. She watches over me, along with my gay best friend from Victorian London, where I was an actress and played the role of his beard. I had a vision of Adam before season 8 of American Idol started, and knew he would change my life. I adore him, and always will.  |

Thank you, Jablea. I guess I just love to think of the way my father used to sing Nat King Cole's SWEET LORRAINE to me when I was a little girl. So many people seemed to say that they hate their names {especially girlfriends of mine} as I was growing up. I didn't feel the same way about mine. And, I have always loved the sound of rain.......
Thank you all so much for being here. Although I don't share as much as I should, I appreciate all of you who do, from the bottom of my heart. You help me feel closer to Adam and in a special way, I feel a unique connection to you as I come here to find out what's going on with this incredible guy we all love. XO

Theo: beautiful pic! Aren't grandchildren THE BEST? ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!! Especially when he always asked me to sing the 'boots on " song (IIHY!) He was around 2 and loved it. Awwwwww |

I'm so embarrassed from my last post. I simply messed everything up.  I just popped In to say hi! Actually I was testing the waters. haha My name Gini comes from Virginia...right out of the middle. It's so slow and trying hard to find something new about Adam. I always enjoy this site so I always come here. I find great pictures and articles. I had to bite the bullet and jump right back in!

Welcome to ALL  I'm curious ....how many have Marry The Night in the back of your mind CONSTANTLY !!!! Even when I'm sleeping if I wake up to go to the bathroom my head is singing MTN  Yes!! Welcome to all the people that decided to come out and post yesterday! Please don't go back into lurkdom. And yeah, I always have a song playing in the back of my mind, very very often an Adam song. And MTN is 'on' for 90% of the time these days. |

Sorry, I dont have a great story behind my nickname RPeura. R is a first letter of my first name Raija and Peura is my family name. In English Peura is a deer. I found Adam in Idols. When I listened to his audition I said to my niece:"He is the One" ![]() Since then I have followed Adam. I didn't have chance to GNT tour but I was at Queen+AL Hammersmith concert 2012 with my niece and then at Helsinki 2013 with my son and I won M&G with Adam (one of the best moment in my life) in Energy Music Radio competition. Before Hammersmith I joined a forum first time in my life. It was QOL. So I took this boring nickname and I have not change it. I had hard times on QOL defending Adam but then a few nice Glamberts showed me this forum and now I'm happy with you. I have one hope in my life: to see Adam performing live once again before I am 6 feet under (is this a correct expression?) ![]() |
