WOW!!! Now I'm wondering what did your DH think of Adam??? Happy, he LOVED him and enjoys Adam's voice as much as I do! My hubby has supported my Adam addiction all these years and patiently puts up with my "fan-girling". He makes sure our daughters and I get to any show within a semi-reasonable distance--even making sure we got to Vegas for Adam and Queen! He says seeing us so happy makes him happy. DH hasn't attended a concert....YET! But the entire family is going to Winstar for New Year's Eve! I'm truly a lucky woman. AWWW, your husband is such a sweetheart! And I loved your story about becoming an Adam fan.  Thank you for sharing it with us. ![]() |

Sorry, I dont have a great story behind my nickname RPeura. R is a first letter of my first name Raija and Peura is my family name. In English Peura is a deer. I found Adam in Idols. When I listened to his audition I said to my niece:"He is the One" ![]() Since then I have followed Adam. I didn't have chance to GNT tour but I was at Queen+AL Hammersmith concert 2012 with my niece and then at Helsinki 2013 with my son and I won M&G with Adam (one of the best moment in my life) in Energy Music Radio competition. Before Hammersmith I joined a forum first time in my life. It was QOL. So I took this boring nickname and I have not change it. I had hard times on QOL defending Adam but then a few nice Glamberts showed me this forum and now I'm happy with you. I have one hope in my life: to see Adam performing live once again before I am 6 feet under (is this a correct expression?) ![]() Yes, "six feet under" is the right expression!!  |

When PF was up, I was a lurker, so I didn't know anyone. The day it went down, I was crushed. I didn't find Atop either for months. It was a random post on another site I was visiting that led me here. Once I saw the familiar names, I literally started crying. This is the only place I've ever felt truly at home. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I had joined PF just a month before and the website disappeared the day before my only Adam concert. I was devastated about not being able to share my concert experience and felt like a ship that had been cast adrift in cyberspace trying to find a friendly place to dock. Two or three weeks later in the comments section of 24/7 some kind soul gave the link to the first Atop. I was jumping for joy when I saw all the familiar names. It was like losing your family then finding them again!  |

I was eating pineapple at the time I joined, and my grandmother's name was Ophelia. She watches over me, along with my gay best friend from Victorian London, where I was an actress and played the role of his beard. I had a vision of Adam before season 8 of American Idol started, and knew he would change my life. I adore him, and always will. Every post is interesting in this thread and I found this one especially fascinating! You're a new poster to me because I've been MIA for awhile. Loved your story - especially about the vision you had! |

Ariana related to our race in there,it means: people who are from Aria land! & my name is used for girls!& I'm a girl! A girl from Iran! So,I've decided to chosen my name based on my country name! Ariana - great to see an Atopper from Iran! I'm related to the Hosseinmardi family in Tehran and have a young granddaughter in North Carolina named Ariana. I love this place and my Glamily so much. After PF poofed I was so lost. I could find information about what Adam was doing, but as Adam would say the energy wasn't right. I needed to go home. This is my Adam home and I eventually found it 6 months later. Thank Goodness! Every one of you is a lot like the man I stan....warm, talented, funny, thoughtful and kind. I sincerely Thank You and can't wait to meet you all. OK, I'm getting teary with gratitude and there's nothing worse than a soggy cracker! A special Thank you to Q3 for giving us a home!
