I didn't mean to imply that Gaga's MTN wasn't stella, I just like the way Adam sang it better. I would never go on another fan board and compare the two of them because I think that would be disrespectful to that artist and his/her fans. I posted it here because this is an Adam fan site. I didn't mean to offend anyone with my comment. I guess this is why I very rarely post if at all.

I, too, enjoyed your MTN mash-up, Glampoon! What I'm not enjoying so much is the comparisons between Adam and Gaga. They are two diverse, incomparable artists. How would this fandom feel if an artist covered an Adam song and it was being said the other artist's version put Adam's in the dust? I mean, ouch. Gaga created this song and her vibe in it is so different. Not better or worse, different. Yeah I intended it more as a duet than a sing-off  I don't see a problem with respectful comparisons tho. As long as they stay respectful hehe. But yeah you're right two totally different singers in the pop world both at the top of their game, just feel the music and the love groovy mamas peace out |

Yes. Adam is up to 34% and gaining on Brittany! The site wouldn't let me vote again until just now. Perhaps you can only vote once every so many hours. So , yes, Try again!Yup, voted again. On 3 browsers. Don't want to get people into frantic voting mode, but if you want to sharpen your skills for the future then in Chrome you can go to your tools and choose to clear cookies for the past hour and the site will let you vote again. I have done this a couple of times just to test. |

Yes! But there's no way to get some people to stop comparing. Actually, I don't mind so much on fansites - I mean, this is an ADAM LAMBERT fansite - what would you expect? As long as we don't throw stones at people with different opinions, SOME bias is to be expected. :D But it irks me to see some of the comments in more public arenas, like the GLEE youtube vid. Some glambert was actually trying to argue against someone else who said Gaga's version was better by saying "then why didn't it have more commercial success?" *facepalm* Ri-i-i-ight. Point taken. I always know if I say what's on my mind, someone will counter and that's totally OK. Some days I get tired of hearing how much better Adam is than Gaga on her own song, when stylistically, they are so different. That's all. Might be fun to actually acknowledge two great artists and their unique interpretations. I love their voices together on the mash up and now want an actual duet of a new song with them! Gaga has a great voice & I think they'd kill it! Her live opening on SNL of the Applause spoof was stellar. Her actual 2 musical numbers though, were a bit "odd!" LOL! Very "WTF, Gaga?!" |

I always am thrilled when Atopers can go to concerts. Always. Living where I do, it is very expensive now to fly anywhere, so my opportunities have dwindled. Makes me sad sometimes, cause I like to play too.. But I support the joy of all who can attend and give Adam a WWL! |

I see no problem with Adam's fans posting their thoughts or comparisons with other artists on Adam's own fansites. I imagine Gaga's fans are discussing and making their own comparisons on her fan sites. And I imagine they prefer her version of MTN to Adam's. That's only natural.
I always prefer Adam's version of anything to anyone elses. That's only natural too.
I'm enjoying the discussion - and listening to glampoon's creative comparison.
It's all good.
