Just an FYI. If there is a QAL concert in NY, it would be at Madison Square Garden - almost certainly. If you flew into JFK (which is technically on Long Island), there are definitely plenty of reasonably priced hotels here on Long Island. There are trains from most cities to NYC. Penn Station is across the street from MSG - no cab necessary. There are plenty of cheap hotels around Newark Airport in NJ also. And many trains into NYC. For anyone flying into the tri-state area, a QAL concert here is very easy to do.
Plus I selfishly want a QAL concert here in my backyard.

I love how some of us are sparring over a Queen plus Adam show in our own neck of the woods.. . I'll be happy for this concert anywhere in the U.S. LOL

Paul McCartney managed to sell x3 times the Yankee Stadium which can accommodate ~50K people when people thought this is going to be a once in a life time mini tour. Rush sold out MSGx3 a year and a half a go for their moving pictures tour. Billy Joel just sold out the Barclay Center in minutes and now new MSG date was scheduled. Both these acts had nice promo in the leading NY radio station Q104.3 and I'm sure in other Classic Rock stations as well. If planned correctly I do not think Queen will have a problem selling out MSG. Just posted about that. Any of those venues would likely be sell outs. Almost every popular artists' concerts sell out in nano-seconds. That's why we usually don't go anymore - only nose bleed seats are available. Queen would most likely be a sell out. The Eagles recently sold out 3 concerts at MSG also. BTW, for other locals, I've heard from a friend who knows Billy's promoter personally that he will be doing concerts at Barclay's once a month for quite a few months of next year. Shssssh, since I'm not supposed to tell anyone.
