Q3... Thanks for the great recap!! ![]() Now, I really REALLY need Adam to change things up! He's been singing that same set list for what seems like FOREVER. There are so many songs from FYE and Trespassing that need to be heard... either again or for the first time!! And we need some new covers!! I'm also thinkin' the band needs a challenge, too. ![]() Becoming a bad fan...had to admit...I listened to the stream and the next day....looked a few vids. And I mean a few...like three. Where the heck was my energy? (I do not think it is lost...I have replayed MTN so many times .... ridiculous. Glee ...has me excited for the Adam parts.) I emailed an Atoper and said... glad I did not go to Miami or New Years. I am sure I would have enjoyed it live. But I did not see this as "professional a show" as it had the potential to be. This is not tour time like GNT where it is a "choreographed" and you know it will be the same, but thoughtfully done. I hope the next two concerts have some life breathed into them for those who are going. Not that he "has to" change things up for the repeat concert goers, but it does create "buzz", and maybe for the band to keep fresh and energized. Nothing like learning a new song(s) to keep one excited to play. It seemed to me, this show was the easiest path. Time for album 3 or some new additions, to get me more excited about "music again". Maybe I best go back to bed and so I can wake up more cheery. I got a phone call at 7 am from hubby to remind me how to put the Jeep in 4 wheel drive. The blizzard has caused drifting and we only have one lane of traffic going in and out of our community! And I volunteered to take my neice's puppy in for grooming today. |

Adam had handed the mic to someone down the stage Then he walked over and said "OK who's next? Who knows the words? He was right in front of me and I was front row center.! We were all yelling Me, Me Me!! I don't know why he picked me but he hands me the Mic at around 5:00 OMG!!!!!! I almost died! My hand was on his hand . He was looking into my eyes. And I WAS SINGING WITH ADAM LAMBERT!!! I didn't t know if i should keep going but he kept encouraging me to go on. The absolute best night of my life!!! There are other vids out there from other perspectives. BUT THIS IS WHAT I SAW FROM MY PERSPECTIVE!!!!!

My take: the holiday concerts are done purely for $$$$$$$$... there is no promo value for Adam there.... also, he LOVES performing, so I feel he exercises the freedom to have real FUN and be loose and goofy, i.e. be truly himself...the band is out of practice now and perhaps it shows, although for me it makes no difference (i don't notice them anyway) - all I need is Adam singing and moving and the Miami concert gave us LOTS OF EXTRAS in the form of the "sound check" moments - I LOVE THOSE!!!! they are more precious than the "old" TP/FYE/covers at this point... As all of us - I want new music, but hey, i feel 100% sure it's coming, so I am enjoying every and any BB appearance as we wait... ![]() |

I'd be the last person to say this normally, but, maybe Adam was so happy because.......isn't Sauli coming back soon? Not implying anything  just wondering. I myself am not so sure things are 'over' for good with those 2. I think they just parted to be fair to each other to do their own things. We shall see. I would love to see them together again too! |
