Maybe it would be great if Adam does what Kelly Clarkson does.. at different venues she has asked someone in the audience to pick a song..Hmm wonder how that works? I think the songs are chosen beforehand via Facebook or something. Panic at the Disco did that too Oh, that makes sense.... I was wondering how they would handle song selection ON THE SPOT by the audience....

Q3: Frankly, I would have paid twice as much to see Adam just sing acapella for an hour. Or triple, or quadruple, or a gazillion million as much!
Great review, Q3, thanks.

For we fans who have watched every performance of the concert songs from era 1 and era 2, these songs are no longer as fresh as they once were. I imagine Adam must be emotionally and intellectually engrossed in his new music, and has neither the time nor inclination to rehearse different songs from either of his albums let alone someone else's. At least these one off give his fans something to hear and watch and talk about, and bring in money for Adam who has a heavy financial boat to float and friends and family that depend on him.
I wanted to add that I very much enjoyed Q3's recap. I liked how she posted videos that illustrated her points. Made the concert come alive.

And for the thought that Adam's current band is not quite up to par as professionals like Queen and others of their caliber, maybe at this time in his career, he really can't afford the cost of a quality professional band. I hope it will all fall into place in time and he will have the quality band that his incredible voice and versatility deserves and that can go with him when he improvises. I don't know that much about Kelly C, but what level band backs her shows? I know she has some heavy hitters behind her with Reba, RCA, etc. so maybe money is no concern for her. Just musing.

I watched Miami twice (before going to work) and I really enjoyed it. Adam seems so happy and ... well happy! He is full of jokes and seems more relaxed. Something's going on

www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTOEzdTJNmUInteresting take on Sexuality from one of the young stars of The movie "The Perks Of Being a Wallflower" His point of view is so refreshing. BTW the movie is terrific .. It seems that some folks are going back to the word Queer to define their LGBTQ sexuality..The times are a bit confusing :

I was pretty much expecting this set list with everything he has going on. I'm just glad we get to see him. And he did make it special. Q3 was thinking it wasn't different enough to recap but changed her mind because he did things to spice it up. It seemed like everyone there had a good time. I don't know what to think of the band. He loves them so much that it's hard to picture him upgrading if he has the money. Like I think Nica said I don't pay attention to them, only Adam. But I have noticed now that when he plays with Queen and Nile I do pay as much attention to the music and even listen to solos. I don't mean to wank about them but I just wonder because I see so many people saying he needs to upgrade and he's such a perfectionist I wonder what he thinks. I did have fun watching the vids. I had that "falling in love" feeling all over again.

O.T. Just caught a couple of minutes of an interview with Boy George ( the Paul O'Grady show). Haven't seen him for years. He has new music out. He said that he was too old for Radio 1...our main pop station. He said that he thought 26 was the cut off age for Radio 1 and that he had heard that the Sugarbabes were now deemed too old for it. Presume he means the original Sugarbabes, Mutya, Keisha, Siobhan, who are clients of Shoshanna and are all around 30. No idea if they are being played or not....as I'm definitely too old for Radio 1... But I thought it was interesting. Have to add that I loved the song Boy George sang at the end of the interview.

Adam did seem very happy at this concert, but to me that has always seemed like his basic modus operandi. Didn't his mother say he was like a ray of sunshine when he entered a room. I was at Paso Robles and I never been to an event that was so unabashedly joyous. Whatever he is doing greeting fans, interviewing, performing on stage he very often appears to be the blithest of spirits. I don't doubt that he has wonderful things happening in the not so distant future that are magnifying his natural tendency to embrace each moment with happiness.

They're really good, super capable musicians but fun too, and the backing singers blend well with her voice.
