Her musical director has been with her since she came off Idol and he makes sure she has top notch musicians with her. That is the key for Adam IMO, getting a musical director with the power to hire the right musicians for Adam.

I agree ,Adam is really up there now with the 'SUPERSTARS' and IMHO he needs the best musicians and the best vocalists when needed.Class and sass is what I'm thinking.

Hot 104.1FM @1041fm 2h 'Idol'-ising Tessanne Chin!! Grammy award-winning singer Kelly Clarkson, Queen frontman Adam Lambert awed by by performance.... fb.me/3meKaAMDoKINGSTON, Jamaica - Tessanne Chin delivered two top-6 performances on NBC’s The Voice Monday, which caught the attention of American Idol alum Kelly Clarkson and Adam Lambert. Interestingly, a few weeks ago, Chin masterfully interpreted Clarkson’s Stronger in her knock-out battle and triumphed. Idol, which shares similarities with The Voice, has undoubtedly inspired the latter. Clarkson won the first season of Idol and remains the most successful of the lot – selling millions worldwide. The Grammy award winner appeared to be blown away by Chin’s voice when she enthusiastically posted a series of tweets; one of which solicited a response from Chin: Kelly Clarkson @kelly_clarkson So I just saw the best vocal performance ever on @nbcthevoice ....holy crap Tessanne can sing! Beautiful, just beautiful! And classy! Tessanne Chin @tessanne @kelly_clarkson @nbcthevoice oh my good God this means just the absolute world to me!!! Thank for making my night!!! I respect you so much!! Kelly Clarkson @kelly_clarkson @tessanne @nbcthevoice girl, you did amazing! Can't wait to hear an album! Kelly Clarkson @kelly_clarkson @tessanne you are bad ass!! I hope @katyperry sees what you just did! She would be proud! ‘Idol’ runner-up and multiplatinum-selling artiste Adam Lambert is known for incorporating theatrical elements into his performances. This helped to land him the prestigious job as Queen frontman. He was seemingly captivated by Chin’s vocals when he tweeted: Adam Lambert @adamlambert Tessanne Chin betta SAAAAAAANGChin performed two songs in a bid to secure a place in the top five. First, she delivered a stirring rendition of the 1980 Bob Marley classic Redemption Song, which was given a contemporary treatment. Then she fast forward three decades to showcase her versatility with an effortless, pitch-perfect version of Katy Perry’s Unconditionally. Both song,s which were executed with little effort, captivated the audience and judges alike. Up to early Tuesday, Chin’s interpretation of Bob Marley’s Redemption Song climbed to #24 while her take on Katy Perry’s Unconditionally inched its way up to #45 on iTunes. Her Twitter follower count was a little under 108,000, however, it increased by hundreds after Clarkson, who has over nine million followers, and Lambert, who has more than 2 million followers, tweeted.

Thanks for the great recap, Q3 -- after watching the videos and reading about the show, I almost feel like I was there!
I don't know anything about playing instruments, but I was wondering is there a usual procedure if the band realizes the singer is singing in a different key?
And another question. When we buy Glee cast songs featuring Adam on I-tunes, does that mean Adam will get a teeny tiny bit of money from the download?
