Yes, thanks to you both! While I have always loved Queen, I never really dug into their huge library of music.....I was a passive fan, I guess, and just listened to the big hits.....but now..... With your combined vast knowledge of all things Queen, I am discovering so many wonderful gems... .....going thru all your videos while I get the house ready for the holidays! Not to plug myself TOO much BUT: TALON'S GUIDE TO QUEEN ON A-TOP - You will find there a detailed guide with posts on every song in the history of Queen (it's still going...I've gotten to Brian May's 1998 solo album right now ) chronologically and including history, live performances, anecdotes, alternate takes, and videos :D So when you get bored. I tend to do one update a day. Thanks again!! </img>

The Robert Plant Innuendo was what made me pull it off the list. It was a bit of a mess. And it make me realize how essential the vocals are to that song.
If Queen and Adam are game, then Innuendo would be interesting. Maybe my fear about it is that it is sort of mythical for Queen fans. I really think Freddie (healthy) might have struggle with it live.
On the 70's music that they stopped playing -- from White Queen to the Rock & Roll covers -- it was not just Queen but many artists who shifted from rock in the early 80's. And the old R&R covers were really out of favor in the 80's.
I agree about how much work it would be to dust off "White Queen" et all but what Adam could do with those songs. I am afraid Adam's dad may be too young for Adam to have heard early Queen when he was growing up but I would love it if he "discovered" this music along the way and inspired Brian and Roger to go for it.
**
For anyone who is not familiar with early Queen live performances, take a minute and watch the Queen Rock & Roll medley on page 1. That is the Freddie that I remember. Freddie with his kimonos and OTT outrageous, campy performances. He would have been perfectly at home play the Zodiac Club shows in 2004.

Talon:
Adding my voice to the general chorus of thanks. Also, a question:
Any chance QAL would add "Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy"? I've always loved that song and I think Adam could make it so fun.
(For those unfamiliar with the song:
)
Don't know anything about the history so...
Thanks in advance for your answer.
