Ooooohhhhhh Jailhouse Rock - I would love that! Why do you think they wouldn't perform Killer Queen? They included it in WWRY - I would love to see Adam sing that.

Q3 and Talon: Thank you both for your dream play lists. And thanks for including many videos, which I will watch asap. Just like Hunter (see above), I'm still discovering, too. Thanks again! Yes, thanks to you both! While I have always loved Queen, I never really dug into their huge library of music.....I was a passive fan, I guess, and just listened to the big hits.....but now..... With your combined vast knowledge of all things Queen, I am discovering so many wonderful gems... .....going thru all your videos while I get the house ready for the holidays!

Talon, Love your response and I will not quote it because it would become the longest ATop post ever. Overall, I know that some of my list would not happen but it is a dream. I am a 70's Queen fan and really would like to hear some of the songs that stopped performing in the early 80's. And I liked the poetry of White Queen, Black Queen, Killer Queen. A few of your picks were on my almost list, but they just have so many songs. There is one Queen song I love, "Innuendo", that I relistened to a couple times when I put together my list, and regretfully took it off. If Adam did sing it, he will have to change it a lot and I do not think the results would be great. I cut it from my list. I never saw Innuendo live so maybe the videos of the performances do not do the live performances justice, but I prefer the album track for this one. Finally, I have wanted Adam to do "Jailhouse Rock" since 2009. The fact that he is working with Queen, a band that performed this in almost every early show, and did it with respect but also total camp (thank you Freddie), make me want to see them do it again. I do not recall Adam ever covering an Elvis song, but he would be so good at it. It would have to be Brian and Roger's idea. And to me, the least likely part of this dream setlist is Encore 1, but it is a dream. All in a dream. NOTE: It is early in the morning and if I forgot an Adam cover of Elvis, forgive me. Innuendo was only performed live once...ever. Queen with Robert Plant at the FM Tribute. It was not spectacular but it was more Robert's fault - losing words - not quite having the range he used to (although slipping a verse of Zep's Kashmir into the middle did work well). It's always top of Queen fan's lists and they would have to change it a bit definitely but it could be a dark dramatic song....And you are right the studio might always win out over a live version but I'd still love to see it tried! I agree on the 70s stuff. The only problem I see is that most of it is so complex and they did it so long ago I have the feeling they will be a bit lazy about it. At their age, why go back and do all that work when they can just rely on the home runs? (not saying it's a great attitude but understandable!) Jailhouse Rock would also be possible...for some reason though they've just gotten away from that. It could work and would probably work QUITE well.. Q3 and Talon: Thank you both for your dream play lists. And thanks for including many videos, which I will watch asap. Just like Hunter (see above), I'm still discovering, too. Thanks again! You're welcome :D Ooooohhhhhh Jailhouse Rock - I would love that! Why do you think they wouldn't perform Killer Queen? They included it in WWRY - I would love to see Adam sing that. Surprisingly? The band never performed the full track live. It was only a part of a medley. Granted it was a part of the medley for many years but never the full performance. I think it is quite potentially an add though! Not to plug myself TOO much BUT: TALON'S GUIDE TO QUEEN ON A-TOP - You will find there a detailed guide with posts on every song in the history of Queen (it's still going...I've gotten to Brian May's 1998 solo album right now ) chronologically and including history, live performances, anecdotes, alternate takes, and videos :D So when you get bored. I tend to do one update a day.
