As an Adam fan it's easy to get frustrated that Adam isn't shown more. Then I have to remind myself that the purpose of this isn't to showcase Adam but to present the top 10 girls. Even the small parts he is on, Adam is amazing. This is all a win! Great point, Rama! I'm sorta disappointed with the contestants, frankly. OOOO..I'm now eating 'Chicken McNuggets'..  |

ok, the judges are so completely off IMO that I hate them even more... this girl sounded way better than KP and they are not liking it while they liked the crappy ones.... Ha! She's the first one that I thought was out of tune. Harry was right about intonation. I think the judges are getting warmed up to give critiques as the show progresses. I think they are sing pretty well, but are pretty similar so far. I'm not going to say it's not as good as previous years. There were a few real poor top 13 singers/performers on Adam's year (Lil, blind guy, bird girl, and more). No dogs yet for me and we are not even close to the top 13 yet. I think a lot of the songs so far are more boring, though more current that past years. |

I thought that I must get my ears cleaned when I heard the judges going off on Marielle I thought she sounded current and actually had some personality

What did the judges not like about the tempo? Did they want it faster? It seems like they shot down many of the suggestions that may have come from Adam. Yes, I thought the same thing. |

I think maybe that's jumping to conclusions. She was really racing through the song when Adam told her to slow down. He didn't tell her to do a big production but be true to herself and know who she is. Her singing was off key and that's not Adam's advice! |
