My apologies, I must have misunderstood what was said during her introduction as I thought they meant she had sung the song earlier, she was clearly aware though what he thought of the song.
No I think you're right. Emily told Randy that she sang the song before and Harry questioned her about the appropriateness of the song's lyrics because she was 17 that time. She just became 18, so Harry said that now she's 18 guess it's okay for her to sing the song. However I agree with Ryan that Harry's too much in his Daddy's mode.
I think she did it great and Adam's right the song only work if she gave a touch of rock element to the song. It didn't mean that she was pretending to be a rocker.

So.. about this mentoring and coaching this week. I'm pretty sure that Randy got paid for this workshop. I'm wondering if Idol also pay Chris and Adam to spend the whole two days out of their busy schedule to be there. Especially Adam had to work on his birthday.. LOL. Of course they got paid and probably A LOT!! Why would you think they didn't? |
