I LOOOOOVE The Happening. I can't tell you how much I love it. BB Chris is getting outsung by Demi and Adam, bless him. But everything! Demi sounds amazing, the background Oo-Oos, Adam's ridiculously ostentious opening note on his section - So good!  LMAO indeed. I remember one of his cast members lamenting that whenever they'd go out for Karaoke Adam would get up to sing and everyone would just stop. It's kind of like that in these Glee songs though when Demi gets in the groove and starts to riff a bit later in the song you get a bit of regret that she and Adam won't get a full on duet (ahem Barracuda ahem). |

I love it! I was imagining that Adam will sing the first verse and I'm glad that he did. I wonder when he sang "You have me down on my knees" Adam will really go down on his knees like he did when he sang AYGMY in Shanghai, @ 1:01  :

He's certainly hard to hide in a crowd... The Happening is cute and sweet. Barracuda has some grunt but Adam out rocks Lea by a country mile - girl needs to learn to put some grit in her voice but I'm sure is harder to do than we might imagine (baby wolf comment earlier LOL). Gloria and Hold are are meh but love the way Adam plays nice with a crowd. Off to relisten.
Barracuda will sound sooo much better if Adam duet with Demi instead of Leah.

Who chooses the songs for Glee episodes? The Happening is a terrible song that was outdated when it was originally released. And Gloria? Just - no.
Why does Ryan Murphy want to waste Adam's glorious voice on crap songs like these? And why does he persist in trying to make Lea Michele a credible rock singer? Some artists' voices are only suited to a particular genre; Lea's voice is great for show tunes, but having her trying to sing rock is like having Kristen Chenoweth cover Tina Turner's catalog.
The fact that Adam can make even bad songs sound good speaks volumes about his talent.
