Not me.  I don't understand how everyone got tickets. I was online at the appointed hour and nothing was available at Mohegan Sun Center. I'm going to whine. Woe is me. Seems like a lot of people got great tickets for hundreds of dollars. That is so wonderful but so not what I can ever afford (public school teacher here). I'm hoping for tickets Friday. there will be 100s of affordable tickets available on Friday. Guaranteed. You WILL get yours!!! Something is odd about that Mohegan Sun Center concert. But there is just not one VIP ticket of any type there. I think the casino is holdings blocks of great seats for casino VIPs. And those often get released later. BUT I just thought I would try it to see what I could get there and drew two tickets in Section 116 Row D. I recommend trying every now and then just in case. They keep releasing tickets for the Presale -- for example, yesterday they released some floor tickets in Auburn Hills at regular not VIP prices. |

No good deed will go unpunished there, don't do it! You will never change the mind of the naysayers there. If this was an opinion, I might agree! No one should argue with the meme that Freddie is the greatest Rock singer to ever walk the Earth! However, they are stating a fact wrong. Adam doesn't even play venues under 3K. So, if I were a member there, I would certainly think it'd be OK to set the record straight.  |

It's A Queen board - there are pro, anti and neutral Adam-singing-with-Queen opinions there. I think it would be kinda disastrous for anyone "outside" that community to "correct" anything there. It just doesn't "really matter, anyway . . . "

This tour is starting off well, the promo is excellent. ** Setting all that aside, take a minute and try to think about being a 40 year Queen fan and being from the UK, and then you have Queen touring for the first time in 8 years, and they are touring North America, with the part of "Freddie Mercury" being played an an American. Now rub salt in that wound and have it be an American who rose to fame on the most-hated Simon Cowell's American Idol. Now throw in the idea that Brian and Roger are talking about trying something new with Queen + Adam Lambert. Considering everything, I think the Queen fans' overwhelmingly positive response to this tour is surprising. ** There are already way too many Adam "fangirls" posting on all the Queen sites. The Queen Fan Club Facebook page is filled with Adam fans looking for the Adam Lambert Fans presale passcode. Really bad form. |
