I am beyond thrilled with all the publicity/promotion for Queen with Adam Lambert! "Perception is reality." If the media covers the announcement of the tour and tells the public that this is a monumental event, then it is. If radio stations are talking up the tour and offering tickets months before the concert, it becomes the show to go to this summer. If you play the "STOMP, STOMP, CLAP" of WWRY big and bold on a promotional ad everyone sees, you implant the concert idea with all the exciting sports events listeners call to mind when they hear it. Hence, attending the concert will be exciting in the same way. The promotional team for Queen and Adam are doing a bang-up job of making the concert seem like an extraordinary event. Even if I were not a fan of Queen or Adam, I would be intrigued and encouraged to buy a ticket. Way to go! ITA. Now is the time to make everybody aware of the tour and get the sales going. This is a big operation and they want full houses. Create exitement, make it stick in people's minds and they'll talk about it - soon it turns into 'hurry up and get the ticket or you'll might miss it'.  |

I am so pleased to see so many fans reselling tickets for face value. Splitting great tickets up and passing them on. It is a very good thing! *** I left Adam-world for a bit yesterday and visited Queen-land. It is so different. Adam fans have concert lists -- I am going to X, Y, F and P. Queen fans seem to have their ONE concert. I guess Adam fans have perfected binge concert going. *** On rationalizing my insane purchases for this Summer of Adam concerts -- there is just no rational excuse. I can't say that I did not go to London BUT I did not go to RUSSIA or KIEV!!  **
I was just at QOL, I guess someone posted that Adam's struggled to sell out venues with 1-3000 capacity. Someone needs to correct them. Adam can easily sell out venues of 3K.

Not me.  I don't understand how everyone got tickets. I was online at the appointed hour and nothing was available at Mohegan Sun Center. I'm going to whine. Woe is me. Seems like a lot of people got great tickets for hundreds of dollars. That is so wonderful but so not what I can ever afford (public school teacher here). I'm hoping for tickets Friday. there will be 100s of affordable tickets available on Friday. Guaranteed. You WILL get yours!!! Somehow a single ticket just appeared and I bought it. YAY!!! I wanted two, so I'll still look on Friday. |

Try again every hour or so. For MD yesterday I got nothing in the first 15 minutes and had to log off, but tried an hour or so later on my phone and got a good ticket, not VIP. |
