'@unrealitytv 46m .@adamlambert working with Tove Lo while in Sweden but what does she think about his voice? primetime.unrealitytv.co.uk/?p=114740 pic.twitter.com/KjbgvJMFo6' ANOTHER star is raving about Adam Lambert as he leaves Glee! We don’t need to tell all of you that Adam Lambert is currently working on his third studio album, the follow-up to 2012′s ‘Trespassing’ and he’s been keeping us all on the edge of our seats with his little Twitter updates. While the American Idol star hasn’t given too much away about the nature of his new tunes, it sounds like he’s been doing a little bit of collaborating, this time with Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo but what has she had to say about his voice? Here at Unreality TV we always call Adam Lambert a “vocal powerhouse” and we’re not exaggerating, you all know his voice is incredible. It’s interesting though when others comment on his vocal abilities, most recently Brian May of Queen raved about him following their recent tour announcement. Adam is always praising other artists and we always report on that but today it’s the other way around. Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo spoke with Billboard and offered up some rather nice words about the For Your Entertainment hitmaker. The pair recently hit the studio and she explained: “He came to Sweden, he’s been working with all the producers, the little collective out there, and having a really good time.” Nothing was given away though in terms of what we could expect from his third, hotly-anticipated album. She added: “When you hear the fully produced stuff from the studio, that’s one thing, but his voice is insane. I couldn’t believe it.” Earlier this week Adam Lambert praised Sia and her new single ‘Chandelier’ which he was really excited for everyone to hear. He took to his official Twitter page and said: “Chandelier is SOOOOOOOOO good. Holy mutha.” If you haven’t heard Tove Lo perform before then check out the video for her latest single ‘Habits’ below which was released on the 17th of March. Adam is currently guest starring on Glee but as we reported last night, that stint is seemingly coming to an end. We have LOADS of spoilers and pictures of Lambert’s final Glee episode here if you’re interested….

At the end of yesterday's thread, mys*&@^#r wrote that the tour will probably gross $45-50 million. The money is not the reason I am thrilled for Adam, or thrilled that I will get to see/hear Adam with Queen. But, the money is, in our society, a form of validation and certainly security for the future. So, I can't help wondering how much Adam might earn from the tour. I know nothing about how these things work. How much goes to the promoters, how much to venues, how much to touring expenses, how much to musicians and staff, and how much the artists get. How much would Roger and Brian get being the established icons, and what kind of cut would Adam get? Would his contract be in terms of a fee per performance? If he got $10 $50k per performance, that would be $1 million, right? Is that in the ballpark? Or would he get a percentage of the gross? Or of the net? If he got just 5% of the gross the boy would get around $2 million, at least. Or would he get a combination of a set fee, and then a bonus if the revenues exceed a certain amount? I am obsessing about this, even tho I know that the $$ is not the most important thing. Can anyone with more knowledge make a guesstimate? Edited because my math sucks. im rather curious too ,,questions how much does it take to produce these events ? how are venues paid > a fee or % of sales? so what % will be left for the performers? cos 45 50 million ,is big bucks ,, just wondered who gets what % of that Hah Lilly, no Scottish talk. You must be sober babe!!!!!!!!!!!!

One would think that teams of management and attorneys worked on the contract/s for this tour- I don't think there's any way to make any sort of informed opinion on what the terms of those contract/s might be.
There may be standard or common arrangements for tours and venues and so on, but the situation of "+Adam Lambert" is so specific to Queen and Adam that whatever agreement they came to is known only to them, their management, lawyers, and bank account.
Until Adam discloses what arrangements were made for financial compensation I pretty much think we're just wasting time speculating. Not that it's not fun, but we don't come from a place of inside information.
Do we know what Paul Rogers' arrangement was? I'd bet that this operates similarly- not that the numbers are the same, just the way that they come to them.

Unless there is a percentage in his contract. And to answer your question about how much the artists makes off of their shows, I read a great article last year, which I did not book mark, that said it is around 34% of the gross. There will be specific data on each show, from Billboard, once the concerts start.

I would think Adam would get a cut of the merchandising which could be substantial.

Unless and until Adam makes a deposit into my bank account from all the money he's making I personally couldn't care less what he is getting paid. I just want to listen to him sing and watch his sexy ass slink across the stage LOL

Tommy Joe is going to start posting YT videos:
So, I caved and I'm going to start this YouTube crap, if anyone cares to subscribe... I'll be posting videos soon. www.youtube.com/channel/UCGWggB-3RTg4yZJUuCnhTfg
eta: It would be enlightening to discover how much money a featured singer makes on a sold out tour although I bet this information is hard to come by.
I would like to know how all that equipment gets moved from city to city every other day! I keep thinking they must rent a lot of it but then again I'm sure Queen has many preferences and prefer to use some of their own stuff. Do they travel with their own technicians and equipment?
