Maybe I can't read but where did you see the percentage that goes to the artist? theosgma The following paragraph from the "rockandrollguru" article makes a general statement about it. I've been reading quite a few articles the past couple days though, and I know there was more specific info about percentages the artists receive in other articles. Something in the 75% and up neighborhood. I will see if I can find those other articles. Below is a breakdown of who gets paid for putting on a concert. The band (or entertainer) takes a majority of the money, and rightfully so. They are the talent. They should be paid for entertaining us. However, there are many other people involved in producing a concert. They get paid as well. And that money all comes out of the sale of tickets. Thanks so much!

Meeting is fun! I met so many fun people during the Glam Nation tour and there are many more that I just missed by a hair, or saw and never quite made it over to, or missed entirely because I was in the wrong room, or city, or bar, or hotel room. Any time you can match an avatar to a real person and connect, if only for a few moments, it enriches the whole fandom experience, IMO. There is so much love and goodwill surrounding Adam that it really does permeate his fan base- for me saying hi to anyone I have berted with online is a very good thing. Buderschnookie, it is so nice to have you back!

I'm more likely to tie a green ribbon on my wrist than to pin on a loop. Hope that just a visible green ribbon anywhere will work.
peace&love

Someone suggested the other day that we do wristbands for QAL. Babs12 and I were talking yesterday, and thought about the KISS--keep it simple stupid--approach. How about picking a bright color (DAYGLO or Atop green for Adam's snake?) ribbon and wear it in one loop like the breast cancer symbol on our lapel or upper torso? The one loop sort of looks like an "A" for Adam or Atop. That way each of us could bring our own 1/2inch to 1in wide ribbon and a safety pin and we'd be all set. I prefer lapel or torso because I think wrists are often difficult to see. (and interfere with jewelry). Day-glo Green probably would stand out against any AToppers outfit, and one such ribbon would work for all concerts. What say you ATOP? Sound like a plan? can I inquire what the purpose for these ribbons would be? Are we trying to seperate ourselves from the "regular" Queen fans or is this so we can spot fellow Atop members and say hello? I don't get it.

The beauty is if you want to do it, you do. If you don't, you don't!
