Hope they are not overdoing it with the venues. The initial storm/demand for tickets was largely us fans reacting to the existing pre-sale and wanting the best seats now. Then, after that, the normal sale was brisk, but not completely off the wall insane. I think it is wonderful what was achieved (i.e. selling out MSG), and would hate to see that watered down with too many new venues, that then don't sell out.
Obviously, I am all for Atlanta, Memphis, Miami, etc....that is new markets. But while NY sold out quickly because there is both a huge local market and there is a special incentive for out of state/country travelers to choose the MSG show, due to its sentimental value, I am not sure that this demand will transfer over to the NJ show in any significant way. PHL sold, but noticeably slower, and that is essentially the same NJ market too.
Now if another MA show is added, that pulls away the whole NE corridor + long island demand into New Rutherford.
Hope, you Southerners get an announcement of shows soon. Wonder what the hold-up is there. I mean, if QAL agreed to a second phase, then SE must be in there, no?

I have no idea where she is getting the "tickets sold" number for Montreal, as there is no interactive seat map. (To continue with my Debbie downer theme, lol) I do not necessarily trust theses numbers .

There is a reason we don't have a confirmation for NJ and 2nd CT. Someone is crunching the numbers and coming up with the best strategy. I also find it strange that the whole SE is left out so far!
