Well, well, well... even though the news didn't come from the horse's mouth the Billboard article sounds an awful lot like a confirmation - the hard work is true and this is serious business. Ok, MM is involved and there must be a label, too. What makes me happy is that again there's talk about a group of people and a collective effort to create something that suits Adam. He's right there with his input and they have time to develop. Apparently the project is advancing, too. BIG CHEERS TO MAKING NEW MUSIC WITH A GOOD TEAM - AND TO 'BIG THINGS'!!! But what was that deleting business - a couple of pics from a studio? Teasers are out by collaborators, wasn't that the way with TP too? Some of the teased collaborations ended up on the album and some did not. Early stages I believe, nothing substantial or definite to share yet. Great that we got something!

Posted by Q3 last night and bears repeating! One of Max Martin's biggest strengths is writing songs that suit an artist.

I'm not one to genuflect before someone like Max Martin, whatever his worldly success. Congratulations to him, but I only care about Adam. And, for that reason, I am happy about everything this collaboration indicates, stated well by many of the posters here yesterday.
When this whole Adam thing got started for me, and I became fully aware of the scope of Adam's ambitions, I used to worry that Adam would sell out his artistic integrity to get the success he obviously craves. Those are among the powerful impulses that war inside him that he dramatized so well in the BTIKM video.
After five years, and having observed Adam and been here for all the ups and downs of the famous roller coaster, I no longer worry about that. In all this time, Adam has never once sold out his artistic or personal integrity. He has fought to keep it against enormous pressure to cast it aside. In a field like show business, that's a pretty remarkable track record.
I feel sanguine about this collaboration. I think what comes out of it will be Adam music. This is not about making selections from Max Martin's big bag o' hits. This is about what it's been about from day one. It is about how Adam Lambert wants to show the world. I know I will love it.
If the new label knows how to do its job it will be a hit. I think we're in for a hell of a ride.

(Isn't that why he left RCA? "Artistic integrity")

I think Paul Rudd's lip synch performance of "Don't Stop Me Now" is also enjoyable.
