. Also I remembered we have a member, kanady?, he was trying to go see QAL in Moscow.. and had some problem not sure what happened. Now we have QAL in the state I hope he gets a chance to go to one of these concerts. And Burrito....anybody heard from her? Is she on twitter?  |

Haven't done that in a LONG, LONG time. It was almost shocking how much Adam has grown since that time. I actually love who he is as a performer now more than ever. Before I almost felt like he was putting on a little bit of a show in confidence to fill out that 100% he seemed to show on stage. Now he owns the stage and looks completely and absolutely at ease. I used to sort of hold my breath hoping everything worked out, now I don't even think about it. |

I think you need to have to trade is your QAL tickets for a ticket to an OLFIP concert! hwc, good to "see" you! speaking of OLFIP, he is performing at a local club next week and you can purchase a table for 4 for under $100.00. I can go if I wanted to but I don't wanna! MAYUMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   |

Thanks Q3. My bad! For punishment, I have to sit in the corner for the rest of the afternoon, wearing plaid pants...  I think you need to have to trade is your QAL tickets for a ticket to an OLFIP concert! That would be more my speed, concert-wise. I mostly go to podunk venues in NH, where I am completely spoiled by seat selection. Last weekend, I saw Robert Randolph and the Family Band -- front row seats and my ears are still ringing. Gotta love NH. Every single person in the crowd was wearing a fleece and LL Bean boots! Why not? There was a couple feet of snow on the ground... Last month was Stanley Clark, 10th row at the litle 220 seat venue around the corner: And, next month is one I'm really looking forward to. Joan Osborne at the same venue. I think my seats are 8th row for that one: Needless to say, screwing around with TicketMaster pre-sales is not my cup of tea. In fact, I swore I would never do it ever again. But, how can I pass up QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT? The last real concert I went to was Neko Case at a theater in DC with daughter last fall, but she did the ticket dance on that one: |

I did read an article by Lyndsey Parker the other day on OLFIP. Apparently he was in a major car accident that injured his guitar strumming hand. He wasn't sure if he could play guitar again. But apparently he is able to. He is a dad now. So strange how things work out, our second place winner is a superstar and the winner is struggling. Gotta hand it to these guys, they are following their dreams.

I did read an article by Lyndsey Parker the other day on OLFIP. Apparently he was in a major car accident that injured his guitar strumming hand. He wasn't sure if he could play guitar again. But apparently he is able to. He is a dad now. So strange how things work out, our second place winner is a superstar and the winner is struggling. Gotta hand it to these guys, they are following their dreams. Yes, it happened new year's day of 2013. His wife Katy (pregnant) and their dog were in the car. A woman croesed the center line and plowed right into them.He showed pics of the vehicle. It was totaled. They were lucky! His hand was not set right and he needed 2 more surgeries to correct it. He is doing a tour now of mostly very small venues, 300-500 capacity. << All the info one pics up at MJ's! LOL! |

What other Idol vets have done arena tours? I'm thinking Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood?
With Glee and the Queen gig, Adam has now established himself for a sustainable career, which is saying something in this era of zero record sales. He'll pocket a big chunk of coin from this Queen gig. And, they'll still do a South American tour, an Asian tour, etc.
Selfishly, I get to see him in his natural environment: an over-the-top arena rock show. His post-Idol shows were way too "big" for the venues he was playing.
