Is it just me, or are these BTS videos of WWFM and FYE so rich of unseen material, that you could easily make another video out of what was left on the cutting floor?
In fact, there are quite a few scenes, especially in the FYE one, where I am thinking, wow, why did they not use that, but I guess, it all comes down to taste and what works in sequence with the song.
I also notice, again and again, how much I enjoy, when a scene is developed or shown as a whole and the images don't jump around every second. Slower pace is so much more pleasant to me. Of course, Adam does what everyone else does in music videos, so I understand that this is what the market asks for, I just find that for me, it works better, when images do not change too fast.

$69! Or rather $55 + fees Gah. The concert is (I think) on a Saturday. It would take 3 1/2 hours and less than $50 to get there by train. But I'm already set for two shows..... (and I still don't know exactly when a July-scheduled work trip is going to take place). ETA: Happycat, where are your seats? Section 217, right side. Didn't realize Boardwalk Hall is so big. A bunch of seats are grayed out; lots of $171 and $101 tix still left, on the floor and in the 100s. I'm still really surprised they added so many NY area dates... |

Ok. I've caved. Bought a single tix for Atlantic City.
Still kinda viewing any show other than Merriweather as a "backup" policy as I'll be stuck in the middle of nowhere during testing on a still yet un-determined date in July. As long as it doesn't hit on July 20th, I'm good (as that's "Take Kidlet to Queen" day). Figure I'll get at least one other concert and sell the other depending on when I have to travel.
Weird tho'. I love GA floor, but bought seats for all of these.
[grins evilly] I know you U.S. Southerns are cranky about all the NE dates, but I'll admit I love the fact I have some choices!

My post about a good number of those on twitter who are nay-naying Adam fronting Queen being big sports fans was not meant to suggest that you can't enjoy BOTH Queen (or Queen with Adam) AND football. It was just an observation that MANY of those protesting (based on their profiles, and the people they follow) appear to be men with a) no special interest in music, be it rock or pop, and b) an outsized devotion to sports (many follows of teams and athletes). Since Queen anthems are played at many sporting events, I thought it was fair to postulate that many critics of Adam teaming with Queen have only a limited knowledge of Queen's music beyond the obvious macho anthems. Plus many of these people "appear", based on their tweets, to be homophobic, and, I would guess, not always aware of the fact that "Freddy" himself was gay. Thanks. I actually got that from your original post. Good little bit of research. |
