Re: My post about the Adam/Kris AI experience I stand by what I wrote. Kris Allen was a 23 year old young man from Arkansas in 2009, a novice at being thrown into the spotlight, and I think he handled the provocative questions from the press in the best way he knew how. He wasn't articulate, mumbled at times and was often difficult to understand. I think he showed courage in his willingness to stand by Adam at a time when the political climate was even less tolerant than it is now, especially in the state in which he was born and raised. As I said before, I'm not a fan of Kris'.My love and respect for Adam and the joy he has given me through his music and beautiful persona is beyond measure. And of all the things I admire about Adam--one of the most important things- is his ability to see the best in others and to bring, as he says,"light and love" into the world.I like to think that Kris recognized that, as well, and it enabled them to help each other during that period of their lives together. And, I want to thank all of you folks here at Adamtopia for being a safe place for me to share my love and joy for this amazing man who has touched my heart so deeply in a way that I can't even begin to comprehend. Love your post! Although I do not agree some of it, I certainly agree that being an Adam fan has nothing to do with being a Kris fan or giving him the benefit of the doubt. I think that many Adam fans are also Kris fans. There were certainly more Kradam and Kradison fans back in 2009. But plenty of shared fans. I mostly like Kris, I still support Alison and buy everything she does, but Adam is my fav. |

Adamme asked about Nationalglampoon and Teddybear yesterday. As far as I know, they are both alive and well, physically speaking. Teddy is fanboying hard over JT and remains oddly unresponsive to my ministrations to stalk Adam in Stockholm - I'm thinking about changing my tactics. Glampoon is writing music, playing music and generally being a cutie pie:) They are both killing me with spot on gifs on twitter, I'm thinking of getting Seoulmate to play my wingwoman, I hate losing:)

And I wasn't going to say this but OLFIP's fans can be just as snarky as Adam fans. It's the whole Idol competition memeI haven't posted in the News thread for awhile because of time limitations and usually have no news to add. I do read though. This post is so exactly what I think - especially the bold parts - that I just had to butt in to say : 
Me three! On some of OLFIP interviews after Idol concerts.. things that he said just showed that they're not really good buds.
But hey.. I'm glad now that the ROLE's been switched.. Adam fans are no longer the bitterbert or the butthurts anymore.. LOL
