Did you all see the interview KittyKay posted on page 5 where Adam actually answers the question about why he stayed in LA?! LOL! Yes! and a huge thank you to KittyKay. It is how I made my summation which I guess had too many of my own life experiences rolled into it!!! Just read the facts!!

Gee thanks guys. I guess we can sum up this way: He was new in his own life Little experience in life (middle class SoCal boy) and the big city had many stories to tell. A bit naive needed to have friends and family nearby sufficient success for inertia to set in found himself going in circles Wicked to Wicked The LA music "scene" started the fire of who he could be. Age and Burning Man lit the fire And the rest is history! That's one way to 'sum it up'! As I remember it, Adam was bold enough to leave his family and sail around the world, performing on a cruise ship, when he was nineteen. I may not have the next part of his timeline quite right, but after he finished that gig, he performed in shows throughout LA and the Southwest (Brigadoon?) and then headed off to Germany with the touring company of "Hair" . . . . hardly the actions of a young man who was afraid to leave the support of his family and friends. Adam has consistently made 'family' of the friends he performs with. Rather than seeing Hollywood as a 'safe' place, I think it was the place where he could feel free and accepted - Hollywood was a whole new world. He was so talented; his voice so good; he could find roles in theatre - but, not necessarily 'good' theatre (the Tahoe Revue was just an example). When he did land the ensemble/understudy role in 'Wicked' - something many aspiring vocalists/actors might forever dream of - he realized it wasn't enough for him. In one interview, I remember Adam recalled he was afraid of what he would accomplish if he set his mind to it. He feared his own excellence. He knew he could be big, and he wasn't sure if he could handle it. Maybe it was the epiphany of Burning Man; maybe it was seeing others succeed; maybe it was his age and his restlessness; maybe it was facing those fears and trusting in his Universe . . . he has, indeed, 'Crawled Through Fire' and it seems he's honed and tempered himself for the challenges ahead. A couple of years ago I met Adam's Unca Dave. One of the things he told me was this: "We (the family) kept saying to Adam, 'Go to New York! Go to Broadway! You'll be big on Broadway!' Adam would just shake his head and say 'But I wanna be a rock star.' " "And now, here we are . . ."! While he has come so far since 'Mama'; since 'Brigadoon"; since 'Captain Hook'; since 'My Conviction'; since Burning Man; since the Zodiac Show; since 'Citizen Vein', I will remember, when I see his silhouette as the curtain rises, that his heroic journey has brought him Home; to the stage where he feels most alive and most honest and able to give us every bit of his love. Yes, he sings more than words. He sings emotion. - And the five years of twists & turns along this path have taught me to listen with much more than my ears - with an open mind and a heart and soul worthy of thrilling in his adventure. Momtomany...I just got back here and want to tell you I loved your post.

‘It feels easy with them’: Something has clicked with Adam Lambert and Queen! From SomethingElse! Though he’s performed on and off with Queen since 2009, Adam Lambert says they found something new together last September when he made his heavily anticipated stateside stage debut alongside Roger Taylor and Brian May. That, in turn, led directly to their North American tour in 2014. Maybe it was having gained so much experience reinterpreting lyrics once sung by Freddie Mercury. Maybe it was the confidence that issuing his own hit album in 2012′s Trespassing brought. Maybe it was finally coming home to the U.S., after having only played concerts in a series of overseas locales before. “It just felt more evolved,” Lambert tells Ryan Seacrest. “We talked about a lot of different reasons, but I think I feel more grounded.” The youthful Lambert, once a finalist on Idol, will be appearing across America and into Canada with the remaining members of Queen beginning in June. He says that’s another chance to learn from rock royalty. “It doesn’t feel like a huge age gap,” Lambert says. “They definitely have all of these amazing stories, and tons of experience — and I try to just act as a sponge and listen and learn. It’s amazing, the things that they have to tell and the things they just know. But it feels easy with them, and I think you can see it on stage.”

Wild4Adam @wild4adam 33m 'Glee' season 5 spoilers: See Adam Lambert, Chris Colfer in 'New New York' - goo.gl/alerts/lxS9
While the bad news for Adam Lambert – “Glee” fans is that he is near the end of his arc on the show, the good news is that you are at least going to get another opportunity to see him on Tuesday night’s new episode “New New York.” This is a story that takes place three months after the end of the McKinley High glee club, and there will be many changes in the air. However, one thing that does look to remain a constant is that Elliott “Starchild” Gilbert is still around, and still hanging out with Chris Colfer’s Kurt. The good thing about this is that there is a fun friendship that seems to have formed out of a former rivalry. Unfortunately, there could be some drama here still courtesy of a light-hearted peck that found its way online. While that was not a part of the story the past two episodes, who wants to bet that this rears its head again now that Blaine is also in New York City? One of the other key components of Adam’s story right now is the Pamela Lansbury band, but it’s going to be hard to figure out just how that group is still together. After all, remember here that Santana has seemingly been off gallivanting around the world with Brittany, Dani can’t be too interested in this anymore thanks to that, and Rachel is still very busy preparing for the “Funny Girl” premiere. What do you think is going to happen on this episode, and if this is the end of Adam’s time on the show, how do you think he’ll be written out? Sound off below, and if you want to sing over some more from this episode, then be sure to visit the link here.
