Word on Twitter is also sounds just like the Greatest American Hero theme. I can hear it! The amazing thing to me is that this generic song is from the same artists that made "Say Something!" << Would kill to hear Adam sing that someday! Although, it would really reduce me to tears!

Never ceases to amaze me how Adam's voice can turn any song into INCREDIBLE! The high notes at the end are EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is what I am picturing. Elliott decides to go off to LA to record music. Maybe he already even has a contract! This song is a goodbye song with Kurt. And within this song, is when we see Kurt & Elliott in leather and studs (pics Adam IGed day of filming.) BTW, pretty sure Adam is NOT in Don't Sleep in the SubwayA How does he do that? ** If Adam is on DSINS -- it is not credited -- that is Kevin McHale and Lea Michele. Kevin sounds great -- Lea is just too "staey" sounding to me. Adam isn't there!! Yikes!! I am hearing things now...good grief...just put me down!!! ......

Oh, can never recognize Kevin McHale's voice. I just thought it was Colfer singing lower. Soo confused, I don't know the Glee regular cast voices very well at all.
Yeah, that opening piano melody on Rockstar is driving me crazy, reminiscent of everything else.

Maybe I'm wrong but I didn't think this song needed those high notes at the end. Adam already gave it great dynamics. But what do I know...! Well, if ya gonna go out as a "Rockstar", might as well go out with the big notes at the end !!! I agree.....didn't think I was going to like it but I love it! The ending is signature Adam....done beautifully.

I just got this quote in a puzzle. It seems appropriate to today's discussion. ""No good work whatever can be perfect, and the demand for perfection is always a sign of a misunderstanding of the ends of art. " — John Ruskin Excellent. Plus striving for perfection (or perceived perfection) is what drives a lot of artists, whatever their field. We know it's not perfect but we keep going for it.

LOVE Adam's high notes at the end of Rockstar, he hasn't gone that high in a while. I thought his tone was great throughout the whole song, almost a solo and hope they don't chop out some of Adam's part during the show Tuesday night. They cut the words "blues" that he sings in Barracuda for the show, NO NO it was so good. I really loved the video of Gloria but Barracuda was fantastic, loved the gravel in his voice.

Interesting about A Great Big World's history: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Great_Big_World So they got their big break through Glee? And then Aguilara inserted herself on "Say Something"? How did they figure out which guy would be the one dueting with her? I was wondering why there was a silent guy just staring and not singing on the music vid. LOL OT post is because wondering why the Glee audience buys tons of Glee-related music, but not necessarily the albums of its actual actors? Similar to the AI situation? I'm glad Adam is on there after already establishing his own career first. Will wonder how Lea's album does, and Naya's later on.
