If I read everything correctly yesterday they were playing both dates in Japan but only one in Korea so it would be 1 day in Korea, day off and then back to back days in Japan...

TALON'S TAKE: Flash's ThemeWritten by: Brian May Musicians: Freddie Mercury - vocals Brian May - guitars, vocals, piano, synthesizer John Deacon - bass guitar Roger Taylor - drums, vocals, timpani - An amazingly well known pop culture phenomenon. Almost any bar you walk into, if you start singing this song, people will sing along! - The intro in the beginning is from Ming The Merciless, the outro by Dale Arden and Hans Zharkov. - Played live through 1982 and then used as a taped intro in QAL (thus why no video below. Brian only played the one chord of The Hero. -I don't have much data but I know that it hit #42 in the US and #10 in the UK when released. QUOTES: - “Mike Hodges really made it into a cult film by being very self consciously kitsch, where as Dino [deLaurentiis] regarded it as an epic and not to be messed with. I’ll never forget: [Dino] came to the studio, sat down and listened to our first demos and said, ‘I think it’s quite good, but the theme will not work in my movie. It is not right.’ And Mike walked over and said, ‘A chat with you, Dino. You don’t understand where this film is going to be pitched.’ But I had a really nasty moment there: ‘Oh now, he hates my ‘Flash’ aaaahhh-aaaaaahhh, and it’s going to go on the cutting room floor.’” – Brian May ALTERNATE RELEASED VERSIONS: SINGLE VERSION A/K/A FLASH- NOT essential - cuts the intro and adds more film dialogue into the mix. ALTERNATIVE PROMO- NOT essential , additional dialogue and the like. 1991 HOLLYWOOD REMIX- NOT essential. At all. Ever. - Released on the 1991 Hollywood remastering, this is an AWFUL remix. Boring and grating. ROCKS EDIT- NO YT video but NOT essential. Not much different. HIGH OCTANE- NOT essential but kind of cool - splices the song together with bits of The Hero for Japanese racing in 2007. QUEEN + VANGUARD- NOT essential. - UK DJ Vanguard made several remixes and actually hit #15 on the UK charts. This is one example. Really not essential. At all. OFFICIALLY RELEASED LIVE VERSIONS ROCK MONTREAL- AUDIO only, never on the video. I'm not sure why. But it was on the CD released. ON FIRE AT THE BOWL- Opens the show - more The Hero really - much like QAL but with more of the latter song. COOL COVER VERSION: TENACIOUS D- Ok, the song is a bit humorous if done right and I love Jack Black and Kyle Gass. Perfectly reverent but tongue in cheek version PERSONAL NOTES: - A song straight out of my childhood. I remember seeing Flash Gordon on HBO long before I was into music and the power of this song was just apparent to me even then. I was in love! It was Flash and Star Wars when i was a lad. I still get nostalgic hearing it! CHANCES FOR SET FLASH'S THEME......15-20% - It's best shot again is to open like the 2012 concerts with a taped opening. It is highly doubtful they actually perform the song which is why it's so low. If I was to include chances at being a taped intro the percentage would go up to 50%. As it is? Well Flash is a cultural win here even considering how it was used in the film Ted...so Queen is noted for playing those kind of things up (see performing I Was Born To Love You in Japan in 05).

I've been thinking: the most annoying prejudice against Glamberts, for me, isn't about them being older women, or fruit flies, or whatever - but that they have an inflated sense of Adam's worth. Well, at least it's the one which gets me every time. Of course, no one has ever said that to me ('cause I'm the epitome of cool and unimpressionable, hehehe;), but just generally speaking, like the general impression, from the outsiders. Back to chopping onions:)))

So IMHO all is GREAT

www.koreaherald.com/view.php?ud=20140403001061Queen, Adam Lambert join Super Sonic lineup
Published : 2014-04-03 19:54 Brian May and Roger Taylor of the legendary English rock band Queen ― behind all-time classic hits such as “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Are the Champions” and “We Will Rock You” ― will be making their way to Korea this summer as part of the Super Sonic 2014 festival first lineup. Popular “American Idol” eighth season runner-up Adam Lambert will be joining the iconic rock stars on stage, taking the mic as Queen’s honorary leading vocalist, which he has done on and off over the past few years. Adam Lambert (left) and members of iconic rock band Queen perform together on stage. (Super Sonic) May and Taylor are original members of Queen, which was formed in 1970 out of London with leading front man Freddie Mercury and bassist John Deacon. Today, the band is still widely regarded as one of the greatest bands in rock history, releasing 18 No. 1 albums as one of the world’s best-selling music artists. In 1991, lead man Mercury died of complications from AIDS. A few years after his death, Deacon decided to retire, and since then, May and Taylor have continued to perform together on occasion as Queen featuring collaborations with other notable artists such as Paul Rodgers. In 2001, the original Queen was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This year’s Super Sonic rock music festival will take place on Aug. 14-15 at Seoul Olympic Park.
