On the fan art -- if it is NEW and really high-quality or witty or wonderful in some way, it can be posted here.
But let's keep it NEWSWORTHY.
So if someone has done a beautiful Queen + Adam takes over Canada photo montage OR painting, that would be NEWS. If someone has done a pencil sketch of Adam copying the WWFM video, it is neither NOVEL or NEWS and belongs in the ATop Art Gallery -- if it is good.

Have no intention to offend, I love your posts, even if they are contradicting at times I am aware, and I can't help it. I love your posts, too. But I'm afraid to quote you:) Once burned and all:)

I am going to give Glenn the benefit of the doubt. If OUT editting is faulty, Glenn will surely issue a disclaimer. I don't expect that, though. So, the only doubt I have is whether Glenn's words are intentionally or accidentaly obtuse. I think Adam's tweet is graceful as ever, with a very strong sarcastic innuendo. Classic class + smarts combo. It's funny how we, as humans, view things through our own filter. I think those who saw Tyler's words as a slight towards Adam think Adam must have seen it the same way and see his response as a passive aggressive jab at Tyler for it. Just as I think those who saw nothing wrong with Tyler's words see Adam's response as him just saying thanks for the shout-out. I guess my question really is why does Tyler need anyone's benefit of the doubt? What did he say that was so wrong? He didn't mention Adam in Rolling Stone, and? Based on what he was saying he wasn't inaccurate to not mention Adam since what he was saying was that there are no gay artists singing about gay themes who have seen the same level of success as macklemore, who is straight. Tyler didn't seem to get any heat for his Rolling Stone interview.... The first RS article published on March 24, 2014 165 comments -- 2 mentions of Adam, neither a complaint about him being missing. www.rollingstone.com/music/news/neon-trees-tyler-glenn-comes-out-as-gay-in-rolling-stone-20140324#add-a-commentThe second RS article published on March 25, 2014 (Macklemore comment) 124 comments -- 3 comments about Adam and 2 responses that mention him. www.rollingstone.com/music/news/neon-trees-tyler-glenn-gay-mormon-and-finally-out-20140325#disqus_threadThe problem article was the OUT article --because OUT is the one that put Adam's name in the headline and that this article that upset some fans. But that is OUT not Tyler making the headline.... "The Neon Trees front man opens up about coming out, dating apps and Adam Lambert"So now there are silly comments like these on the OUT article... *** I think my opening post started this discussion BUT I specifically did not criticize Tyler -- I criticized OUT. OUT name-checked Adam in the headline to generate clicks and tried to make it seem like there was something newsworthy in what Tyler said about Adam when there was no there, there. My only criticism of Tyler is that I agree with what Tyler said about Macklemore and other straight artists -- and it would have been nice if he repeated it to OUT. [Well maybe he did, but we will never know because OUT is more interested in dating apps than LBGT equality.] I love Pink but why is it OK for Pink to have a gay anthem played on the radio but not for an out gay man? And read what he said, do you disagree? I sincerely believe the answer to this important question is YES. **** And I still think OUT.com used Adam for clicks! And I am OK with that IF they would just once mention his upcoming album or the Tour or something about music. In other words, give something back to Adam.

On the subject fan art....I just feel that it takes a lot of courage for someone to put their art work that they have spent so much time, thought, and love for Adam in doing out there for all to see. I would hate to see their feeling of self expression stunted because of some comments they read. Each of us appreciates art differently. I love seeing their feelings for Adam expressed through their art work.
And I really don't think people here post pics of a photo shopped practically nude Adam.
Anyway that was just my thought on the subject.

I for one, will miss seeing all the fan art. Granted some I have enjoyed more than others, but I would hate to have to be the one to judge what is good enough to be posted. Not everyone has time to go to multiple threads each day and scrolling is easy enough, we all do that at some point or another.

My feelings on the fan art... If I don't enjoy it I scroll, if I do like it I study it. Naked Adam plus unfortunate fold is just funny.. Good taste no, but funny.(especially when you discover it is a Kraft ad in Italy for salad dressing!!)
I admire anyone who has the courage to make art and make it public. There are a few good artists, some mediocre artists and some who should have a talking to behind the barn. I would hate to lose it on the blog and have to go see it elsewhere. It gives us a unique flavor.
