Since they have to put in a break for Adam half way in the show, I think they could put in a guest during the break without it taking away any songs from Adam. The iHeartRadio .fun collaboration was really a special thing. Brian and Roger were supposed to perform with .fun on the Grammys, but they had a conflict and could not do it. So when they ended up on the same bill as .fun at iHR MF it was a perfect opportunity to have them join Queen for a performance. That was not a Queen + Adam Lambert concert. Queen and Q+PR Tour rarely had any guest vocalists. The only thing that seems remotely possible to me is that Paul Rodgers might do something when Queen plays his "hometown" Vancouver -- but that seems really unlikely to me. Q+PR was not Queen. |

I think Adam was just fooling around. Adam has a silver BMW 650i which is an ultra luxury class car. Not a Lambert-ghini but not shabby.  It is can hit top speeds of 300 km/h (180 miles per hour) V8 engine produce 400 hp and 440 lb-feet of torque. Costs around $100,000. But Adam bought his BMW used which is just another reason for me to love him so much! And he takes care of it -- and gets his own gas!  It is a very sensible car for him but it is also a fun car to drive. However, it is not his dream car, nor is it a Ferrari! |

So, clearly, I am doing a few things wrong in my life: a) First of all, I live in middle of nowhere Pennsylvania (thanks Q3 for rubbing it in, Stinks twice, coming from someone, who lives in the mega metropolis of NE Ohio. But yes, you are most certainly correct). b) I obviously have the wrong friends, not many 16 year olds among them, as far as I can tell c) I apparently had the wrong Dad (not really – j/k) d) I did not consult Adam’s calendar before planning my off the grid Easter vacation So, here I come back, think that nothing much is going on = people are just chatting away about whether they want to hear other people sing with Adam and stuff (my own 2-cents: would not mind if it happened, but I am going to a QAL concert, so I presume that is who I will hear, so I’m not expecting it, but not losing sleep over this question either). On the other hand, that Adam showed up in my own stomping grounds, just a few miles from my house, now that definitely makes me lose some shut-eye. Not sure what I would have done, if I had known, it is not like I could have just invited myself, so maybe it was good that I knew nothing, but the just the thought, that I could have run into him at the airport, is just amazing. How do you guys out in LA live with the idea to always have him around you? Now, Adam did something right. He got out of here, as soon as he could. This whole party thing is astounding. Harrisburg/York is not a rich place, not many daddies who can spoil their 16 year olds like this. Never heard of something like this for that matter. Nothing much to add otherwise, just wanted to mention that over on AO they are reporting that Adam sang 11 songs and not just 6. Not sure, where they got that from, or whether this is correct, just wanted to bring it over that this is what is being said. As far as any other guests....I think the only other shot there is of guests would be Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters. They are such huge fans and are such good friends with Brian and Roger that this wouldn't be shocking to me whatsoever especially since the Foos aren't touring at the moment. Everytime the Foos (or even Taylor Hawkins with his sideband) has been in London, Brian, Roger or both have crashed and played with the Foos...Hell last summer B&R were both busy so Rufus came and drummed with them. In 2005 the Foos played New Jersey the day before QPR did and Roger jumped up and drummed with them. And of course in 2006 the Foos celebrated the Rock Honors with QPR. SOOO with that in mind, I wouldn't be shocked if the Foos guested at some point. Dave Grohl was one of the Guest stars I was thinking about. This is (most likely) the last tour and I can see some old friends wanting to be part of it. It would also bring fresh press for the tour. Meatloaf is an old friend of Brian's and a big Adam fan, Nile has worked with both Queen and Adam. I can see some more contemporary artists collaborating on one special song when they are in New York or LA. I could be completely off base. I see this as more than a concert but an event by the time the summer ends. |
