*** I know I resent it too as I skip over six valuable minutes (20%) of the iHeart set when I watch it. But I also understand many felt some of the most important people who watched that set were there to see fun. Don't know if that's true at all, but if it is, I would say it was a fair trade, considering what's come out of it.

Don't know where you heard that but I would say definitely not true. That night, I'd say most were there to see Katy Perry. But Elton and Queen are the ones that blew the roof off the arena!

I am hoping for a series of Guest Appearances along the tour. Paul Rogers is on my list. Bowie tops the list for me. I'd love to see Brian and Roger surprise Adam and the audience with a guest appearance by Bowie. #PipeDream Really? I want all Adam. Was completely unimpressed and felt having FUN guest at iHeart was unecessary! As a matter of fact, if Rodgers (or anyone) took a song away from Adam the night I was seeing my shows, I'd be pissed! I enjoyed the energy Nate brought to the iheart group performance. I also think it set Adam apart as a member of the group and Nate as the guest. The audience missed Adam when he left the stage. The energy was different when Adam returned. I don't want another guest to take away from Adam. I want guests to join Adam and Queen. I loved the sound of FBG with so many people. It would be fun and get additional press for a variety of guests to join as Queen moves across the country. I want a variety of current pop stars and legends. I guess I am in the minority, but I love when Adam does duets. Adam is so playful and generous when he performs with others. MyS*&@^#r, You don't even want a Bowie guest spot with Adam?

I think I remember Q3 saying that the VIP did not LEAVE after Katy Perry etc. (it was VERY late) because they wanted to see Fun with Queen. Not that they came to iHeart to see fun.

While watching our Global Morning Show today I was reminded that Paul Rodgers (who was a guest on the show) is married to a Canadian woman and currently lives in Vancouver. He is touring this summer and will be playing The River Rock on June 26th, two days before Queen+Adam play Rogers Arena. Wonder if he will stick around to see the concert as he doesn't have another show of his own booked until July 8th? I am hoping for a series of Guest Appearances along the tour. Paul Rogers is on my list. Bowie tops the list for me. Maybe it's me but I really don't think there will be one.

I agree with mys*&@^#r50 -- "no one" was there to see .fun. >> People were there to see Katy Perry. There were sprinklings of fans for every artist. >> Elton and Queen were the best of night 1, and got the best reception for their performance. But Katy got the biggest opening cheers. The concert kicked off with Robin Thicke doing "Blurred Lines", then .fun performed 5 songs, a lot of people were talking. Most of the floor seats around me (the "important people" from Clear Channel) were out at the bar getting drinks.>> .fun performed "old" music released in 2011 and 2012, and a cover of "You Can't Always Get What You Want" (1969). The performance was lack-luster and forgettable and not really relevant to Radio in 2013. >> Keith Urban who was up next was better received. And he did some old hits but also had a new single, "Little Bit of Everything" (US Country #1). Brian and Roger added .fun to the set because they had to cancel a prior commitment to perform with .fun. I think it was a VMA performance, but I no longer recall. In any case, Queen + Adam + .fun got 35 minutes, 5 minutes more than Katy Perry and Elton John. And that was changed after they added .fun. So no really loss to Adam fans except that FBG is that not-too-effective duet with Nate and Adam trading off parts. One thing is certain, the audience liked Nate's energy and excitement when he got to sing SBTL, but they were happy when Nate re-introduced Adam and even happier when Adam took over as frontman again. >> And to be fair, a lot of people on the floor left after Katy Perry. They mostly looked like casino VIPs to me. That was a good thing because that was why I (and at least 2 other Adam fans who were on the floor but not in the wristband section) got to move up for Adam.

We have two birthdays coming up during the tour: Brian - July 19th - The Mohegan Sun date and Roger - July 26th - the Atlantic City date.
I am thinking there might be something special arranged for these dates, perhaps with guests...
Otherwise, both of the 2012 guests were local - Victor - a singing show winner in Ukraine for Kiev and Zemfira - a Russian rock star. for Moscow... IDK what that would mean for US, who would they invite to "connect" with the audience, they already have Adam.... ' If they do have guests I would love them to add to the show and not replace an "Adam" song...

Wonder if he will stick around to see the concert as he doesn't have another show of his own booked until July 8th? I strongly doubt there will be any guest singers added to this tour -- but if there are, I would not expect to see Bowie. Here is Bowie's last performance....in 2006. youtu.be/JWfYAxkBgQg*** On Paul Rodgers -- I suppose anything is possible when QAL plays Vancouver. And he will be there and lives there now. He ends his tour on Jun 26th in Vancouver and does not head out for his Bad Company reunion tour until July 8. So he will almost certainly be in Vancouver on Jun 28, 2014 (the Vancouver QAL concert night). Paul, Brian and Roger seem to be split up on good terms but Roger made a comment that really did not sound like they had much interest in working with Paul in the future. But Paul Rodgers singing a song or two, in a long Queen set, in Paul's new hometown, seems like something that could happen and that would be a nice addition. My only hope would be NO DUETs with Adam. And I do not want to see/hear Adam + Paul. That would not be a match made in heaven.

' If they do have guests I would love them to add to the show and not replace an "Adam" song... Paul Rodger is now Canadian and lives in Vancouver. That is why people are speculating this may happen in Vancouver. ETA: I would have preferred iHR QAL with just Adam because it was not a full 2+ hour Queen concert. For the upcoming tour -- no matter what happens, guest or no guests, Adam will only be singing 18 songs or so -- maybe 20 or 22 with short versions. So what does it matter if it is Brian and Roger singing or someone else? The are both well over 60 and not the vocalists they once were. The biggest problem I had with iHR was that Nate Ruess' vocal issues made his performance difficult to listen to. www.altpress.com/news/entry/fun.s_nate_ruess_opens_up_about_vocal_rest_following_festival_cancellationNate + Adam + Queen in 2012 before these issues started might have been a moment to remember -- versus one to edit out. If I were a singer, I think I would decline an opportunity to sing with Queen on the same bill as Adam!
