Raining night so I decided to check out twitter,, I have a question CASSIE - twitter is trying to identify a pic of adam w/ipad w AdventureJames….they are guessing Adam is recording at night. I think mys*&@^# mentioned that most recordings are done at night. I ask why??? Gelly replied "voice" so my question to you is,…... Does your voice sound better at night? better quality??? I would have thought that one sounds and records better the first thing in the morning. …. I see you have gotten several answers already. As a rule a singer's voice is more warmed up later in the day. Early mornings are hell. It has to do with crud in your sinuses, nose, throat, and vocal cords that builds up at night when you are lying down and sleeping. It takes time being upright, moving around, drinking (preferably something warm, but no milk or dairy), and using your voice gently to clean everything out. This allows for full resonance in your sinuses and free, easy vibration of your cords. To a lesser extent, you also want to warm up and loosen up all the muscles involved in breathing and supporting your voice properly. And get the blood flowing for full oxygenation of the cords. (Hence, Adam liking to do some exercise on a bike before performing.) Finally, Adam is a theater kid and performer. His working day may not start until afternoon or even evening. After performances, he needs several hours to wind down and let his system eliminate the various chemoicals that amp him up for a performance. His body's natural rhythm has been set probably 4-6 hours later than 8-5 working folks. He probably sings better, thinks better, and is more alert in the evenings, so it is the best time to work. Thanks Cassie! Great answer! And I always did my best homework thinking afer midnight. But try getting the normal world to understand that.

Okay, ninjas are on the roll tonight:) Adam's photos for the Advocate magazine have been taken at that studio as well. '2:35 p.m. in Hollywood: Lambert records his new album at Conway Studios on Melrose Avenue.' 'Matthew Breen, Advocate editor in chief, interviews cover man Lambert at the Conway Recording Studios.' news.advocate.com/post/11623549382/adam-lambert-in-photosWow, looking back at these pictures, and the GNT ones, Adam has grown and changed so much in a few short years! He looks so young, and pretty in these, and now ,he's matured in an accomplished handsome man.
I kind of miss that innocence .

Louise @louise_mtn_bert 12m
For those who remember from FS1, @adamlambert 's oldest fan Isabel passed away last night at age 93. It was such an honor to take part in bringing her to that show.

If powers that be really want to base the awards shows on the sales reports, which is to say on the customers, it would be really interesting if they could come up with a way to determine, to measure in a way, the worth of music to them in a more substantial way than just through the mere purchase. It could be an interesting field of exploration for enthusiasts. In a sense, not only to have the fact that someone has bought a unit of music acknowledged, but that there is an efficient tool of measuring the impact of said music on the customers and their awareness of its value... For example, if there were a utopian world, where every buyer would have to give a reply to the simple question of why they bought certain music, I feel like that replies of the people who bought Adam's music would be such that they would shoot him to the very peak on the scale of worth. In other words, the total addition of the worth of Adam's music would be much higher than the additions of some much better selling music. I have no idea what I just said:) I am very bad at Maths:) Of course, it can also be questioned, whether the worth of the piece of art to the customer is indicative of its real worth. But if it is something to be considered, the customer's reaction, I think it is high time PTB moved on from the simple act of purchase as the deciding factor. I think that we are seeing the beginnings of a change in this direction, things will need to go further. The strength of youtube and streaming services as a measurement of mass interest, is already taken as a fact in the industry. Billboard has reacted by including numbers from those services into their most important chart calculations, and the percentages were mostly taken away from radio. Of course, that also has the effect to lift a song that is just a fad (Gangnam style) to the top of the charts, but the reality is, that song did have an overall cultural impact, even though its musical contribution was probably marginal. But just like burger consumption, when the masses love something, it does not mean quality, but it does mean wide spread public interest. The fact that a company like Fremantle (idol's company) is finally recognizing that fan videos are not an attempt at stealing content, but rather a sign of appreciation and interest, and as such need to be valued, and marketed, and potentially multiplied by tweeting about them, is a sign of progress. The market has and will continue to become more direct. None of this means, that the customers are choosing quality. But that is true of many areas and music is a very subjective product and does not lend itself to objective quality measurement. There are industries, where price is used to actually create the presumption of quality. Wine for example. If you are not very familiar with a certain wine, then, at the wine store, you have exactly two things to go by. The information on the label and the price. We assume that a higher priced bottle of wine will be better and deserving of that mark-up. And yes, we can be cheated, but probably only once. In most cases, the wine store will have an interest to price fairly, and hence this becomes an important qualifier. The music industry has eliminated price as a market regulator, has instead relied on an inefficient and biased system of middle-men who are rigging the system on both sides (the label on behalf of the artist, and radio on behalf of the listener) to define demand, and it has done little to learn about the consumer. The only other system I have encountered, where this commerce model was in use, was the Soviet style communism. In East Germany, the price was fixed, supply side rigidly planned years in advance, independent of any knowledge of the market demand. The result was a completely off-kilter recognition of value and interestingly, theft was everywhere, even for goods you could have bought at the store at low prices. Stealing meant protesting a system and the goods represented that system. These same East Germans now behave like anyone else, now that they are used to a regular market. Theft is again a marginal problem, like anywhere else. If the music market would make sense, things would work itself out. People would buy and pay according to perceived value, and quality would be at least one part of that consideration. Given that quality in music is a very subjective term, it will never be possible to adequately measure this. Opinions will vary. Some think 20/20 experience is the best thing ever, and others could not care less. Nothing wrong with that. We don't need to all define quality the same way. The internet is helping us get closer to such a model, the influence of labels and radio is changing and eventually, a new market model will develop. I see a lot of good signs of this already, and even CHR and AC radio has become a much better experience now, than it was 10 or even 5 years ago.

I am just posting it for those interested. twitter.com/glambertparty/status/459536549907292160TAOG Party Central glambertpartyATTENTION GLAMBERTS!! We are looking at having a possible Private Concert/Fundraiser for Chronic Pain (cont) tl.gd/n_1s1h6ce ATTENTION GLAMBERTS!! We are looking at having a possible Private Concert/Fundraiser for Chronic Pain Fibromyalgia and RSD/CRPS in Bethlehem, PA tentatively scheduled for October 11th 2014. This is NOT definite and is still pending management/Adam's approval but we have initial calls in. We are trying to judge interest to see if this is doable as we would need to come up with a downpayment to book IF it's approved. Those who would buy their tickets early to contribute toward the downpayment would get priority seating. It would only be about 600 people and the venue is very intimate and GORGEOUS. It is a brand new facility on the Northside of the city. The furthest seat is only 60ft from the stage! Ticket pricing is NOT confirmed but would more than likely be somewhere around $400. The Sands Bethlehem Hotel is only 1/2 mile from the venue and Comfort Suites is 1 mile from venue (will be needed for overflow as the Sands hotel only has about 300 total rooms) There will be several local transporation methods which will be provided once we have confirmation. Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) is located 15 minutes from the venue (will be looking into shuttle options from ABE to hotel) & Philadelphia Airport (PHL) is an easy approx. 1hr & 30 min drive. There is also daily service from the NYC Port Authority & Newark/JFK Airports to Bethlehem, PA using a local bus company. Feel free to contact glambertparty OR @paula4lukas if you have ANY questions! twitpic.com/e1zxj5twitpic.com/e1zxt0Louise @louise_mtn_bert 50m glambertparty @paula4lukas Interested, but doubting the numbers. $240K take, but Adam's well above that, ~$500K. Also a fundraiser? TAOG Party Central glambertparty 27m @louise_mtn_bert @paula4lukas waiting 4 final numbers for adam's fee. we have been talking with adam's management and send in proposal 2day A couple days about I said there is no chance Adam would perform at a private concert for my birthday! But that is my birthday!! So maybe I should go so I can have an intimate Adam concert for my birthday. I think this is one I will pass on.

I do not know where people are getting that Adam gets well above $500K per concert now. In Asia, yes. But last I heard it was $250K in US. That is the number we heard for Pittsburgh Pride and I do not think that will change significantly until he has another big hit/album. The $500K cost of the Sweet 16 party was for alot more than just Adam. From the photos, it included venue rental, catering for a pool side party and at the venue including a huge cake, professional photography, all the event planners, etc. Adam's fee varies but I know that Pittsburgh Pride was $250,000 + travel and accommodations, and that included the band. He has gotten less than that for two events that were private events. ** The part I do not understand about this fund raiser -- is that 600 people at $400 = $240,000 -- so that is not a fundraiser unless Adam discounts his fee a lot -- or it has big sponsorships.
