Just my 2 cents, but Adam is represented by some of the best lawyers in LA. Not to mention his management execs at DMG. I really doubt the deal to break free of RCA screwed him out of anything. Even if he had a one year "waiting clause" for new music, doesn't matter. It's a year he'd be in creating mode anyway. The stuff about 30 Seconds To Mars is their old contract, I think. I don't, for a minute, think DMG would get anything but an amazing contract for Adam! ITA with this. You're right - the 30 Seconds to Mars film concerned their old contract with EMI. I know we'll never see the actual details of Adam's contract with RCA, but I'm pretty sure he came out okay. He's one of those artists that just has too much talent for them to mess with! And one of the things I really admire about DMG is that they have a small number of artists & they focus on taking care of them. They're in for the long haul with Adam & both parties have alot of money to be made....and like the rest of you, I'm certainly contributing my part!!! As long as Adam makes money, it makes me happy!  |

Way too quiet. Adam must be working on something. I wonder what? Queen+AL wardrobe planning? Photo shoot? A3? Mini-break? I vote for QAL wardrobe shopping! He's going to want some really spectacular outfits for this tour so he needs to get started right away! After all, how is he going to top the Elmo Jacket???  |

Adam is fortunate RCA didn't shelve him like they did Jordin Sparks. Jordin is talented, young, beautiful and in a high profile relationship (Jason Derulo. It should be easy to market her. She has had an album complete for 5 years waiting for RCA to release it. Having no label would be better than being in limbo with a major label doing nothing with you. grandduchesspf.. do you think he's on the sly do you? hmm.. interesting theory.  I have a question, apologize if it's already answered several times. Must admit to speed skimming most days ( I just can't get interested in the business of music, running two businesses out of our home is nightmare enough).. anyway, questions. 1. How soon and where do you think they will start practicing for Queenbert.. how many weeks away? 2. How much of the album do you think is wrapped up, our soonish A3? 3. How much pressure do you think Adam is feeling to wrap this up before Queenbert ( real or self inflicted ) before he is travelling for what appears to be the better part of the summer? 4. Assuming a fall release of single/album.. it does sound as if it's being suggested the entire album is going to be done before any announcements/promo/possible single release is going to happen.. and I wonder why the strategy in that as well, does that put it out of this years Grammy's, and if so, would a ( don't slap me ) 2015 release date be better for business? Gah, back to business! How did that happen? Thank you to all your good minds for your input.  |
