IHEART has an app that can be downloaded to your ipad or iphone - you can use it to listen to any of the stations participating in the contest. Would seem reasonable to tune in to the one nearest you. Good luck everybody!!!!!

I can't see Adam as Peter Pan either. Too tall and obviously sexually mature. Peter Pan sings about not wanting to grow up, and Adam is clearly a grown-up. A grown woman like Mary Martin can look like an adolescent boy because she's small and lithe. Adam is clearly far past adolescence.
I think I'll just hold out for Judas in Jesus Christ, Superstar.

I actually think that Chris Colfer would be exactly right in this role. And after season 6 of Glee, he would be quite available to do it.
Sorry Q3, but the whole time while reading your post on page 1, I was thinking, nope Chris, and then I saw on page 2, that others had already brought it up.
Chris has a childlike - never-ending childhood kind of quality to his voice as well as persona. He looks very young and his body movements are somewhere in the child-like, dream-like realm. He is Mr make-believe in a child like way, in my mind.
Adam on the other hand, I first of all, perceive as manly, very much so, and certainly as very REAL. Powerful in a sexual way, not an innocent one.
I am sorry, but I don't think, this musical is right for Adam, because those other parts he could sing instead of that Peter Pan part are just not all that interesting musically. I think, he should skip that one and focus on A3 and his own tour and everything else that always happens in a accelerating career. His time for musical will come. YMMV.

I so agree with you. Adam is too "heavy" to be Peter Pan, not by weight but by presence. All wrong and it would be laughable imo. Chris Colfer on the other hand, maybe too obvious a casting! That is because ya'll are thinking about Peter Pan circa 1960 vs. how Peter is being cast now. NBC has already said they are casting a man. Sorry but Chris Colfer could not convince anyone that they can fly. That would actually be laughable IMO. (I like Chris but he would really not be a good choice.) Peter is suppose to be a leader. To be charismatic. They will be casting someone who is 16+ as Wendy so they need a tall Peter. *** One thing is certain, if they cast Adam which I realize they will not, and IF Adam said "yes" which I doubt, it would not be laughable. It might be controversial because the part and the play has always had a homosexual subtext but most people are unaware of that. And Adam is tall but he is not "big". He is actually very lean and would look the part. If Adam did it -- he would be great. I know it. Sorry LOL

Yeah holding out for Judas too! And he's a far better singer now then when he first sang "Heaven on Their Minds" so would love to hear that, redux.

ETA: Now Danny (Grease), I am actually with you. I think that one would be really good. Was not around when that discussion went on, but I don't think Adam should do Beauty School dropout at all. Too cliche, all kinds of wrong, imo. Don't think, he would ever get the role of Danny, because they are looking for someone age 18-21, but I think, he would be great at that one, if they were willing to cast someone a bit older. ETA: hit the quote button, instead of edit...sorry

If Johnny Weir could sing, he would be perfect for the part - boyish,slight-of-build and graceful. Adam would be all kinds of wrong - mature, studly body and SEXAY. Peter Pan should not exude SEX. Adam does. Just wouldn't work.
