Bridgeymah -- I agree -- Bonnie did it best!! >> Adam was damn fine in 2008 Upright Cabaret but he is so much better now. Back when he was on Idol I thought he was perfect a few times (Studio recording of "Feeling Good" is perfect.) Since than I have redefined perfect. The Adam Lambert I saw in Vegas and in Biloxi this year was >>>>> Adam in 2008. I just really like Josh's version and know that people here appreciate vocalists so I posted it. He is 37 years old and has been singing since he was a kid. He was on Search Search in1993 at 16. He has been playing small clubs in Indiana for over a decade and being an SAT tutor to pay the bills. And he is really a fine singer. Sad thing is, I cannot see how he can win on The Voice because on of the other contestants has a massive online following. Her name is Christina Grimmie and she is a YT cover artist who gets 3 to 12 million views on her videos, one has almost 80 million views, she has half a million followers on Twitter, and with online voting she just has too big an advantage. Of course, we all know #2 is the new #1. I liked Josh's version - nice back story. Sad that he will likely be done in by a social media diva. We have one of those supposedly auditioning tonight on The Voice here - was on Oz Idol years ago and is back for another crack at things now she's older and wiser and with a big online following. They will almost certainly turn for her seeing they seem to like any big female voice that steps up the mic (even when they beat bloody then murder Somebody to Love which is just not allowed - looking at you Nate Russ, yep still bitter Adam didn't get to sing that at iheartradion show...) Anyway despite the "Adam ears" (listening version of blinkers) I seem to put on these days when listening to other singers I agree Josh did a lovely version.

I'm listening to a local Nashville station -- they never played Adam before -- I used to be so pissed off at them. They are giving out passwords 4x a day and have a method to enter on-line if you are unable to text. I just missed the 1 pm code. :(( What times is the Nashville station giving out the password? Are they requiring people to live in the immediate area, or is 160 miles away acceptable? NO
Participants and winners must reside within the participating Station’s Total Market Area (TMA) as determined by the Station or otherwise defined by Arbitron. Commonly the TMA represents the total overall radio station's comprehensive listening market audience within a geographic area encompassing all industry defined media market areas.

Almost every time I hear something sung, I immediate think, how would Adam sound singing this? A few singers are so definitive and I do not do this -- Adele, Lorde, and a few more..... I stumbled upon a couple early David Bowie tracks the other day, and I really forgot how great he was -- even in the early days. I think he is a very underrated vocalist because he became so associated with his early 80's dance tracks. But man, he has an impressive range (Sung range: G1-G♯5 based on his fans, I have not confirmed that) and such a distinctive vocal style. *** Oddly, I posted that cover, but I really am not a fan of "I Can't Make You Love Me" even done by Bonnie -- although I can appreciate how well she sings it. A far as Adam goes, I really want to hear "Wildest Moments". I suspect we never will because of the rights payments. Maybe he will do it in a concert.

I thought David Burtka was a slimmed down Val Kilmer. I'm keeping this the next time people say Adam only looks good because he is wearing make-up. Neil looks ill!

I know of which you speak :-) I love Adam in introspective pull it back mode - mainly because we don't hear it too often seeing he loves to let the old vocal chords loose to run free, but it's when you can really appreciate his interpretive skills. That signature tone and ability that Brian and Roger call one in a billion (probably about right) is rare indeed. Every year when I watch shows like The Voice I'm reminded of just how rare as I cover my ears to hide from the multitude of sins unleashed on unsuspecting and largely innocent songs.

I thought David Burtka was a slimmed down Val Kilmer. I'm keeping this the next time people say Adam only looks good because he is wearing make-up. Neil looks ill! Neil was apparently required to lose another 25 pounds off his already pretty-damn-skinny frame for the Hedwig role. I think he looks awful. I don't understand the current push/requirement for male actors to dramatically change their weight for roles. ETA: It's gotten so bad lately, that I almost hope that Adam never gets offered a juicy role that would require him to do a lot of weight fluctuation. I think Matt Damon has some permanent heart damage for what he did, and Tom Hanks has alluded some role-related health issues as well. Can you imagine Adam being unable to perform properly?
