My favorite Adam moment is very easy for me to pick. I love it as much for how it made me feel, as I do for how I think it made Adam feel. It was the Glam Nation Tour and I was lucky enough to attend numerous concerts. Each one was better than the next. It was a musical journey and a friendship journey -- I met so many wonderful people over the course of that summer/fall. I would go to the concert and then go right home and watch all the youtube videos too. There were so many moments to anticipate and enjoy during the live show but they were just as fun to watch again (and again...) on video - the first notes of voodoo, the Fever Tommy kiss, the high note in Fever, that beautiful quiet moment in Soaked, the "thanks for loving me" in WWFM, and the pure joy of IIHY. When the end of the tour came and the two shows in LA were announced, I did everything I could to get there. The first of the two shows was at the Music Box and it was awesome. Those special moments I'd come to expect throughout the concert were just as wonderful as always. But then the unexpected happened. During IIHY after introducing the band, Adam asked us to all sing along as he usually did, but then when he yelled for us to "juuump" a cannon of confetti exploded and it was like an Adam Lambert tornado of awesomeness and I was right in the middle of it. Confetti, his voice, the dancers, the audience, the jumping. It was pure joy and love, and I felt it down to my toes. As much as I was enjoying the moment for myself, I was so freaking happy that he got his confetti!! Thinking about that moment always makes me grin from ear to ear. We got fire the next night and it was awesome too, but being in the middle of the tornado at the music box was the bomb! You can see the moment I'm talking about at the end of this video. I've really enjoyed hearing about everyone's experiences. Adam has touched us all in so many ways. I took this picture in the middle of the moment. If you click on it to enlarge it you get a better sense of it. Attachments:

As of yesterday, Adam was still in LA.
On the Idol questions....
They already announced that Scotty McCreery will be performing on the 5.15.14 show which will be a one-hour results show for the Top 3.
As far as Adam being on the show, if he is on, it will probably be the finale which is 5.22.14 and he could make that show and still have 2 weeks to rehearse with Queen. But with the current Idol ratings, not sure it is that big a deal. And he has nothing to promote.
***
There is a slim chance that he could show up at the Billboard Music Awards -- but I doubt that.

I don't think Adam is in London. . His tweet time today was pretty much the same the past few days. I'd say his wake up time Pacific time. The Maleficent tweet was interesting though. The movie doesn't come out for 3 weeks here. Could he have just received his invitation to the Hollywood Premiere, May 28th?! If he got invited, and I assume he gets all the invites for red carpets, I can't imagine he will be in LA on May 28th. I saw that tweet and wondered if he saw a movie since that preview is in heavy rotation.

But still, I think Adam will only be in London for 2 weeks of rehearsal -- and they will probably take a break to all get to the US, then do a couple days here before the show. So Chicago - 24 days or so. That means he needs to leave for London sometime around May 23-24. So he could make the Idol finale.

Eek! I am probably too late for Adam Lambert day favorite memory. (it's 10 pm in AZ) Denver GNT. I took my son to his first 'rock concert'. We had a marvelous weekend in hot denver. Scoping out the buses parked near the venue. mother/son bonding etc. Both of us even painted our nails black. The funny moment actually happened to him. The Paramount theatre made both main upstairs bathrooms for women. A staff member spotted my son looking for the restroom and directed him to a men's room off to the side and down some hall. When he returned he shared his adventure with me. He wandered around looking for the bathroom and found himself in a room with Adam sitting in the corner and a group of people standing around. Of course I was eager to know if he met him or talked to him or something. He said Adam looked at him, nodded and smiled. I think it was more exciting for me than it was for my son, but still a nice memory. We saw two more GNTs together and a couple of years later we went to MA and saw Adam at the KISS concert. He suggested I come to Boston to see Queen and AL with him, but I am just not that into it. ETA: actually my favorite moment: hearing Voodoo at Fantasy Springs 1. It was before the concert started. Chatting with guy in front of me waiting for the show to begin, we heard CLYG and looked at each other quizzically and said "that sounds like Adam". I think most of crowd figured it out when Voodoo started playing. It was like freaking foreplay! I can't hear Voodoo now without vividly recalling that moment.

If you click on it to enlarge it you get a better sense of it. That show was my favourite also...winks and I were in the front row, right side of the balcony and we had the most awesome viewpoint. Adams family and friends were just over to our left in a set apart vip area just in front of our seats. It was so special to see all those people we only saw in pictures...all there...leila and ever, danielle, cheeks, scarlet and lee...I almost crashed into Scarlet coming out of the bathroom...she put her hands in front of belly and proudly hollered out 'baby on board'....The sense of wonder and love permeated the Music Box and we all had a sense of the importance of that venue. It was just a really special show. I danced in the isles, swayed side to side and the smile did not leave my face for days. I likely have a few extra wrinkles from all the smiling ..... It was a spontaneous decision for all of us there because it was a last minute addition itself....and it was so significant as part of the full circle that follows Adam about! I loved Alisan opening for him, and then joining him for Aftermath. It was the most wonderful 2 days....i met winks along with many other glamberts, enjoyed lunch on the beach, IN DECEMBER!!.... great memories. And now I am getting all excited to see him with Queen in Vancouver...amazing. I have to agree with some others about the amazing moments experienced via lifestreams and videos....I never got the chance to go to the AI tour but every morning I googled and found the Bowie segment to watch....I followed him as if I were the only one to do such foolishness in those days...it was not until the fall that i found Planet Fierce and joined in our great community. I especially remember the breathless excitement of seeing that silhouette at the EMA and realizing that he had that gig alone...the excitement of twitter and this forum....or whatever permutation of this forum that was ... as we all got drunk on the whole phenomenon that was QAL....and then that amazing Kiev concert that was so clear and fantastic....we have had some pretty great moments and I know there will be many more....

My " monumental " Adam moment was when I finished my first Adamwork. It was like making his persona a part of my world. It was like making his music into a palpable reality. This was my first Adamwork. INTERTWINING MEMORIESAnimated!! I just wanted to say that I LOVE your art. It always makes me look twice and think, it is fascinating. Although Adam is the subject, it doesn't stop with him, it goes on and says something about you and maybe even more than that. This work makes me think of some early 20th century paintings, a pierrot by Picasso maybe? But then a very cocky one. Is there a place where I can find all your works? Do you make non-Adam related art as well? My digital artworks are just kept private . It's my sanctuary. I have made hundreds of ADAMWORK . All those I post here are all for my fellow Atopians. Please enjoy at will. Thank you for your enthusiasm for this Adamwork. Yes Adam evokes artistry. He is stimulating, isn't he?

Since I delurked earlier and also have been enjoying all the fave Adam moment descriptions (with some making me even cry)... here is mine... I also have a few, like the first time I ever heard Adam's voice and the first time I heard it live during sound check, but my one fave Adam moment is the one captured as my avatar. Del Mar was my first time seeing Adam live and I was just mesmerized. Then he did that Broadway pose. That moment especially stayed with me. Everything goes by so fast and I was overjoyed when I learned this spontaneous moment was captured. It made me realize how important and meaningful it really is, as a photographer myself, to capture moments. Thank you to all of you for this place here. I checked in a few days ago on my b'day... thanks for the wishes and the cake! I hope to meet some of you in LA or LV for QAL. Aloha...
