Yes! And so much more! I truly believe his bravery at being out at the beginning of his career made many closeted gay performers, sports figures, etc sit up and take notice! They have witnessed his success. It made them realize it was OK to be themselves! Remember when Oprah said, "You are doing it!" She was right!  You are absolutely right mys*&@^#r. I am no special Tommy fan but I think sometimes we forget that Tommy was pretty special and breaking some ground of his own when he openly participated in the man on man kisses with never a sign of discomfort [well, with the possible exception of Amsterdam lol]. Yes, Tommy was very supportive to play along with everything on stage! Here's my favorite kissing fan vid. |
