Don't think AFL would ever consider politics... But Clay Aiken was just declared the official Democratic candidate for his NC district near Raleigh. Kind of amazing!

I sure hope Clay wins ,I think he would be a very good representative.. He was a special education teacher,so I'm sure education in our state would be important to him.. Our new governor,fired teachers,cut the education budget... is taking away voting rights.. I could go on all day,but this is not about Adam LOL |

Anyway, North Carolina's problems are at the state level, and Clay is running for US Congress. Even it he wasn't an absolute longshot to win in that district, a US Representative has no really effect so State education and budget policies. ETA: I share your pain, I am in Ohio -- same bad politics here. |
