I actually think The girls themselves came up with that name and Adam ran with it!

Sorry to change the subject but I would love to get a little help. I am looking for quotes raving about Adam's voice from big names. I thought there was a collection on the Vocal Masterclass thread but didn't see it.
Anybody have their own private collection or where it might be on Atop?

I agree that there was a reason Adam called his two back-up singers "the Vajayjays" and not Ashley, but I do not agree that it was sexism, racism, or "size"-ism on Adam's part. Back-up singers have group names sometimes, "and the Supremes," "and the Rayettes," etc. I don't think band members often do. It was just Adam's bawdy joke on that, that's how I took it. As for "he was told to stop" - by whom? By his two singers? If that's true, I never heard it. OR by SOME fans? Because, if it's the latter, I mean, he doesn't have to, I mean he CAN'T actually listen to, everyone . . . it would be impossible because people have different opinions. Do we know that they didnt name themselves? eta: just saw mys*&@^#r's post.

It's just a few days and a huge event. It is the only thing that fits that I can find. Q3 - do you mean they could be doing Rock in Rio in Rio or in Vegas? (Hope Rio).... Vegas "Rock City" Rock in Rio is the one that is in May 2015 and is being promoted as the 30th anniversary of the first Rock in Rio. Just my theory. I think the 30 year ago event was.... Rock in Rio: Queen performed in 1985.
The first edition of the festival was held from January 11–20, 1985. Queen, George Benson, Rod Stewart, AC/DC and Yes were the headliners, each occupying top spot for two nights (Benson, however, ceded it to James Taylor for their second night in the same bill, due to the huge delay Taylor's extended performance had caused to his concert two days before). About 1.4 million people attended the 10-day-long festival.
The "Cidade do Rock" (City of Rock), the place where the event was held (which was built for the festival), covered an area of 250,000 m² (around 2.7 million square feet)30 years from 1985 is Rock in Rio -- either in Las Vegas or Rio. My money is on Las Vegas in May. ** Rock in Rio has been in Rio a few times: 1985, 1991, 2001, 2011, and is returning in 2015. Rock is Rio has been in Spain and Portugal more often: 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 (later this month) Rock is Rio is moving to the under construction Rock City in Las Vegas in May 2015. This is the biggest RiR enterprise ever. It will be permanent. And it kicks off with Rock in Rio USA. Vegas is also going to be a TV program.

The girls named the Vajayjay's and talked Adam into it. I think he was a bit nervous about it. It is in an interview and he actually blush-giggled.
It is also on Reyna's Twitter profile.

I actually think The girls themselves came up with that name and Adam ran with it! I think I remember them referring to themselves by that name. I think they liked it because it was sexy. It didn't bother me.

Just wanted to get Caleb's convoluted and graceless (IMO) apology on record. Also, the impact on the parent of a child with Down's Syndrome.
Oh good, Caleb, slam LA. That should play well. This boy needs more than a vocal coach or stylist. He needs a PR person with a gag, STAT. It is just so hard for me to think that someone could say these things without seeming to have a clue about how it might be received. To be so oblivious seems oafish to me. At least Justin Bieber has sold a gazillion records, and might have a problem handling the fame and the entitlement thereof. After all, he IS famous, or maybe now infamous. But Caleb, you are neither rich, nor famous. Can't you take a look at the career paths of all those who have gone before you, trying to establish a career after Idol? Of all the contestants, not many could even spark a small gleam of recognition, even for Idol fans. So my advice is to learn to take care of that voice and at the very least try to appear humble. Maybe I'll tweet you a song choice as a trial. Okay, moving on now, done with graceless Caleb.

If Adam must (insert weary sigh here) appear on the final of this lackluster and completely forgettable season of AI then please don't have then drag Queen into the whole misbegotten mess. I don't think Caleb deserves that level of "endorsement" - from what I've seen there are singers in pubs all over Australia (and other countries) who could wipe the floor with the guy... I know Adam on TV is always good value but just not really loving the idea of him being any more associated with this train wreck season than he already is... JMO YMMV I couldn't agree more. I was looking forward to Adam on the finale but after watching last nights performances I don't want him anywhere near any of those contestants. Jena's last song was great but all the rest of the performances I thought were appalling and not worthy of any finalist, vocal problems or not.
