And now we have TWO TEASES!
Stay tuned for Queen news!!
ADAM LAMBERT @adamlambert
Where are you headed @queenwillrock? Do you mind if I join you?
So whatever it is, Adam will be there too!
***
It does not appear to be a country. It could be a specific city. It could be a venue. But nothing really fits.
Could this finally be the expected London concert? They played Wembley Arena in 1984 and have not had a
Could this be Australia and/or NewZealand? Queen was there in 1985 which was 29 years ago, but they could be rounding.
Is it a return to Rock in Rio -- Queen was there in 1985 and Rock in Rio is in Las Vegas in 2015?
American Idol teases that there may be more Adam….
but is that on the show or just another GIF countdown appearance?

Is this a hint that he will be on Idol again? Or will he be one of the mini video clips on the show?

Adam Lambert’s Already Our No. 1 Summer Babe & It’s Only May
Adam’s serving nothing but summertime flawlessness.
Can someone please explain how Adam Lambert already has that flawless summertime glow while we remain as pasty as baking power? It’s only May. What is this West Coast sorcery?!
Never mind, we forgot that when you are a living, breathing demigod of perfection, you’re gifted with a natural glow that can be seen from all corners of the universe. Meanwhile, the rest of us are forced to rely on a little something called “vitamin D” to achieve such luminescence. #Sigh
Jealousy aside, can we all agree that this selfie the “If I Had You” singer took with friend Terrance S*&@^#r gives us all kinds of summertime feels? Like, even staring into the sun’s reflection in the boys’ shades has transported us into some beautiful world of lazy beach days, pool parties, barbecues, and outdoor concerts.
Speaking of concerts, Adam’s touring with Queen this summer, which means that we’re all but legally required to declare him our unofficial King of Summer! When you see the outfit he has to wear — a crown, a gold-lamé speedo, and nothing else — you’ll understand why we’re so eager to call it.

The 2014 "Part-of-the-World" Queen + Adam Lambert Tour Countdown!
5.15.14 by Q3
The countdown moves on and the start of this epic tour gets closer. Only 35 days, 5 weeks!!!! to go!
#35 “Calling All Girls” (1982)
Written by Roger Taylor.
Released on Hot Space on 21 May 1982 (UK), May 22, 1982 (US), also released as a single in the US and Canada in July1982.
"Calling All Girls" was the first Roger Taylor-penned song to be released as a single, although it was only released in certain countries, including the US, Australia and Canada, but not the UK. Taylor composed the song on guitar, playing feedback noises during the break. There is also the notable use of record-scratching, a possible reference to rap and hip-hop, which were emerging into the mainstream at the time.
***
The song has some dated production effects that put it squarely into 1982’s pop music style, but strip that away and this is a surprisingly current song. Although I do not expect to hear this in concert, it would actually be interesting to hear this live again.
Interviewer: How did you get the thick rhythm sound in 'Calling All Girls'?
"That's a combination of acoustic and electric guitar. I think Roger did the feed-back tracks near the end of the break. You never know where things come from. Roger played a lot of guitar. He's always bursting to play guitar."

Q3: This is worth a listen. This version is very different than the album track. It is another fan-made version.
And Freddie’s vocal in this is really amazing.

"Calling All Girls" Music Video
The video is a parody of the George Lucas film THX 1138, and was rarely seen before being released on Greatest Video Hits 2 and the band's official YouTube page. Both Taylor and May openly expressed disdain for the video in their commentary for it, with Taylor claiming the song's message had nothing to do with robots (which make a prominent appearance).

"Calling All Girls" Live
The song was never performed in Europe, but a 1982 live recording in Japan is available on the Queen on Fire - Live at the Bowl DVD.

Fan audio, the quality is not great but there is not a lot of media on this song. I mostly posted it because you can actually hear how quiet the audience is during this song.
