Will have to drag out my fan club membership I guess. Either that or wait til they go on sale for General Public. Will be a hot ticket I think.... Nah, don't wait. The presales gave good seats and it was *much* less stressful once I had tix in hand (knowing even if it hadn't worked out I could use general sale as backup).

Aleks - Your words are beautiful; even when you feel they aren't inside. As we wait and yearn and speculate, conjecture, hope . . . we keep coming back here, don't we? The tattoo shows me, and all of us, how much Queen - Brian & Roger, and Freddie's legacy - means to Adam. My personal feeling is that when Adam thinks about music, all else fades away. And the music of Queen is heady, already - - believe me, about Australia, AFL isn't agreeing to perform for just $$$ . . . he's going to carry the weight, bring new art to these rocking melodies . . . he's thinking about THIS; not about a house; not about financial security. As a performer, his security lies in his art. Isn't ONE SONG from Adam I haven't loved. Oh yeah, I'm down the rabbit hole. But I'm not talking about obsession. I'm talking about art. Creating a song. Putting it together. His voice makes all things beautiful; every phrase becomes exploration, because he becomes it. Am I worried about A3? I won't just love the album because it's Adam. I'll love it because his VOICE will be enveloping every phrase; every nuance of inflection and interpretation. Record and album sales be damned! I don't care; they don't matter to me. This man is riding a wave towards whatever your dream may be. He will achieve it. He will be there. We knew it from the start. From 'Mama'. Someone said, earlier, that they didn't want him to be in arenas - so far away. I've felt the same way, But I knew it would come. That's why I've wanted to be close for as long as I can. One night, five years ago, I heard a voice. I cannot stop my journey to hear it again. Agree 100% regarding Adam appearing with Queen. The money should be great. The PR priceless. But, for an artist like Adam, those are not the primary motivating factors. He has the opportunity to perform with some of the best in the business. World class rock royalty. And he is performing some of the best and most challenging rock music ever written. It is an incredible, breathtaking experience to make music at that level. A thrill that, dare I say it, is better than sex. A high like no other. He will be performing in front of tens of thousands of screaming, loving fans. The feedback infinity loop will be an amazing, one of a kind rush. He will become part of a once in a lifetime concert experience. He will be part of a legacy for the rest of his life. We will get a new album. We will get new singles. We will see Adam branch out and do things we cannot yet imagine. All will come in time. Performing with Queen is NOW. I am beyond thrilled for Adam, and also for Roger and Brian who will have the opportunity to re-visit the music and theater they created at the height of their careers. Something they probably never anticipated before meeting Adam.

...But by giving himself now to a Queen tour, for a few short months, he can probably set himself up with financial security for life - how many people would turn that down?...This tour will give him personal highs in his career and will forever cushion him from the low bits - hopefully, it will give him choices and a good degree of protection from compromise in his future career. <nods emphatically> This. So much this. When people aren't frantic about "OMG, how am I going to make rent" or worrying about running out of money, they have the FREEDOM to experiment and/or wait for the right timing for opportunies. Other than his clothes habit, Adam is pretty thrifty. Plus, I seriously don't think Brian or Roger are going to gyp Adam since they know they wouldn't be touring without him. Ergo, this one tour should really nicely form Adam's financial buffer for the future.

I can't believe there is no picture of the best Skingraft jacket ever!!!! Oh that's a brilliant idea. That jacket would make for a great outfit, even if all your greedy wishes for those tights might not come to be, lol. I hope, that he heeds the lesson that B&R have told so often, that while black looks slimming, it also pulls you back into the stage. If you want to be seen and want to dominate up front you need to come out with regal colors. There is a reason that any emperor wore red or white or gold. Just think of which outfits of Freddie you remember the most. Red cape, yellow jacket, white shirts or pants (even if they were looking like underwear or harlequin outfits), they were memorable. And with Adam, obviously the most memorable was the elmo jacket, too. For Adam's own concerts, black is not so much of an issue, because he is the whole ticket, the band is in the background and also, there are a few dancers, and so, the dynamic is different. But for Queen, why not go with regal colors. The whole color scheme above would be perfect, actually. Hope, he has this jacket still. I would love that. Wonder whether Skingraft or alternatively The Blonds get to make some outfits for him for this tour? He must be trying on clothes by now, if he leaves for rehearsals by end of May, right?

What I find fascinating about these numbers? This tour is 60% sold before Asia and Australia even buy one ticket. Also when looking at the two Air Canada Toronto shows, I can almost guarantee that anyone who only bought a ticket for the first show will be scrambling for tickets to the second show and it will sell out completely the day after the first show. It will be that good.

What I find fascinating about these numbers? This tour is 60% sold before Asia and Australia even buy one ticket. This chart is not accurate but based on this about 90% of NA concert tickets are sold out. *** Essentially sold out 8 shows: Chicago, San Jose, 2 Las Vegas, New York (1 ticket on map), Mohegan Sun #1, Toronto #1 Over 95% sold, would be reported as sold out 2 shows: LA Forum (99% sold), Auburn Hills (excluding the new blocks of side tickets just added, some Diamond VIPs here), Montreal <so that is 10 shows sold out so far -- technical sellout is 95% sold.>Limited to singles, Diamond VIP, Fan Pack upper lever: Mohegan Sun #2 Sold deeply, mostly upper level: Dallas Sold deeply, no way to estimate how many sold: Philadelphia (finally!! singles and upper level), Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton <looks like Dallas, Philadelphia and Vancouver will be sold out, not sure about MS #2, Calgary and Edmonton>Selling well, some VIP, limited 1st level, lots of upper level: Toronto #2. Lots of seats available, no way to estimate how many: Houston, Boston, Winnipeg, Saskatoon Lost of seats available: Atlantic City (it is 1 hour and 10 minutes from Philadelphia, so now that the good seats are all gone in Philadelphia, this is selling. I think this venue will sell out.), IZOD (lots available, this will eventually sell out, between MSG and Philly) In the end this will be a "sold out tour".ETA: I fixed my error on Montreal.

I'm not too worried about Adam's own music - it will happen and it will succeed commercially or it won't whenever it appears. But by giving himself now to a Queen tour, for a few short months, he can probably set himself up with financial security for life - how many people would turn that down? I wouldn't want him to limit his opportunities with Queen, just to bring forward something with such uncertain rewards, however artistically laudable. This tour will give him personal highs in his career and will forever cushion him from the low bits - hopefully, it will give him choices and a good degree of protection from compromise in his future career. Thank you, Sophie!
I'm an Adam stan because of "the voice" and because there's been no new music in like forever, I've been feeling
#1 TOTALLY BORED#2 AND RAGEY/STABBY
Your post is like the lady behind the desk. LOL
