Is Thursday 8:10 in the morning, OMG! I'm over the moon! I would like to share with you my joy, today my son will buy me a ticket to Adam and Queen concert. I'm so excited that I can not breathe ..

I'm so happy That this Adam Lambert and Queen magic is sprinkled throughout the world. It takes my breath away.

These guys do a lot of things that I wish Adam would do as well.... Raise money to make your own videos, put the microphone down during a concert and sing a song without amplification, have random collaborations with other artists and put them on Youtube, dress up & cover well known musical songs and have a blast with that while still sounding good (look for Superfruit - Frozen Medley or Defying Gravity on Youtube). And most importantly, each concert they get a fan on stage (for free!) and serenade her, while sitting on her lap.  I really like PX and they have done really will for having little support. [.....] But I do not want Adam to have to resource for fan-funding to make videos. I want to see him with a label that funds promotion. Adam wants to be a mainstream pop-rock star and for that he needs a big promo budget. ** On the other stuff -- Adam can do all the covers in the world but first I want new Adam music.  Maybe two things: the Patreon site was launched yesterday, so what PTX raised there they made in one day. And the song I posted is an original, not a cover. But you are right, blinded by the wealth of new material from PTX and the lack of it from Adam I made a foolish wish. For Adam to be as big as he wants to be, you need a proper promo budget. My biggest wish from the list though is that I will one day just hear him sing, without a microphone, and as little instruments as possible. And of course.... NEW MUSIC! |

Yes, PX want to establish a place as more than cover artists. Don't get me wrong, I really like them. I purchased their two general (non-Christmas) EPs. I was not being critical but Adam has worked so hard to get where he is, he seems to have finished recording A3, he worked with Max Martin on it, I just think we do not appreciate how far he has come. ** On Adam singing true acapella -- no instruments, no mike, yes please!! I will be happy, however, just to hear Adam sing WWTLF live in an arena with a mic with the arena vibrations with the reverberations off the back wall. Oh, and if he adds in about 19 more Queen songs, that would be OK too!! |
