Okay I need My head examined. I just bought an onstage ticket for the Calgary show!!! I plan to blog about my adventures so thought it would be a neat perspective. haha, yeah that's what I told my friends so they wouldn't think I had completely lost my mind. This means I now have a really good diamond seat on the floor, Row 15 seat 14. right on the end of the row closest to the thrust, for sale. I will sell it at my cost via ticketmaster transfer to a fellow glambert. pm me if you're interested. OMG in the meantime I will be out selling my body to pay for this. hahahha. Yay you! Ok, you know we'll be demanding a FULL recap in minute descriptive detail of what it's like up there!!!! SpinDanceSpinDance Good for you popalock....yes, we want to hear all about it!! I was...and am...so excited for this tour but seriously, there were about 3 +_ days that I just could not plan around [Raging Grannie Unconvention in Montreal] and what happens....they put the Western Canada leg right square in those days. It made Calgary[home town] and Edmonton impossible and I have to miss the last evening and day to catch the Vancouver show!! sheesh...all this to say, damn but I wish I could take that ticket!!! I am too poor anyways but as I would have few added costs, it is at least 'dream able' lol.. Can't wait for the Van show.....yeah....

I don't think you need your head examined! I think there will be some kind of 'extra' impact associated with those seats - a little bit of adventure added to the concert going experience.....we don't really know how it will work out but I bet anything it will be great! Also it seems, from the diagram, that the on-stage seats are on one side only....where the whole performance area of stage, walkway and the round stage at the end, wraps around at about the same height as the seats..... The only reason I wasn't tempted is because I'm shy and would feel a bit exposed. Lol... All the more reason to love those who go for it! Hope it's fab!

Of course that is as long as I stay conscious. haha.

The ticket is a will call and is listed as stage Row GA0 seat 1. so not sure what the heck that means but sounds like it will be seat 1 on one of the rows so that's good. Yes I am looking at this as a Once in a Lifetime thing for me. I chose to do it only because I had a single seat for Calgary and didn't have to worry about leaving a seatmate. I love Adam but am also a huge Queen fan and excited to see Brian May and Roger Taylor. ;

I was referring to accumulative sales on those Idols singles, so if we are talking about "Idols biggest hits" IMO, a song that sold 1.5 million in many years, should not be considered a bigger hit than a song that sold 5 million (Phillip's Home) in 2 years! Just my opinion! Since "Home" is now the #50th selling song ever, I agree. And it is still selling. I know it's small of me to say this, but there's something about that that makes me feel a little sad and sick. And jealous. I still don't like PP's vocal style (strangled and off key).

THIS! 'Gelly @14gelly 1h What I know is that EVERY site is mentioning Adam's name not only inside the article , but at their tweet too. I am fine with that ' 'Gelly @14gelly 48m Very good article www.bustle.com/articles/25580-aviciis-lay-me-down-video-is-missing-something-important-hint-adam-lambert-video …' AVICII'S "LAY ME DOWN" VIDEO IS MISSING SOMETHING IMPORTANT (HINT: ADAM LAMBERT) — VIDEO When Adam Lambert first premiered “Lay Me Down”, the song he did with DJ Avicii, it was basically the club hit we all didn’t know we’d been waiting for. The fact that it’s the fifth of the singles released from Avicii’s True doesn’t do the song enough justice, unless Avicii was saving the best for last. Lambert provides all of the vocals for the song which, when combined with Avicii’s music, makes for an incredibly addicting track. For some reason, however, the music video for “Lay Me Down” was less of a music video than a concert video. The video follows Avicii as he heads onstage to perform the song for an adoring crowd of concert goers as a show identified as “Live at Tele2 Arena”. The show is so good that the concert ends on a shot of one of the fans crying. Not that I blame her, considering they paired the song with smoke machines and bursts of flames. It’s as if the eargasm everyone was having was somehow an underreaction. Why Avicii chose to film a concert instead of pairing the single with an outright video (like one that actually features Adam Lambert) isn’t immediately clear. Maybe by the fifth single on an album, you start running out of steam as far as elaborate videos go. However, pairing “Lay Me Down” with a live concert does force the viewer to focus on the song and their reaction to it more than they would have if they’d had to follow the plot of a video while they listened. Lambert might not appear at the concert, but his vocals are the heart and soul of the song and they match up perfectly with the smoke columns and shooting flames. That particular show took an already good song and made it great, so we can’t blame Avicii for wanting to immortalize it as part of the music video. He’s in the habit of keeping his vocalists uncredited anyway, controversial though that decision might be. At least when you get up and start dancing around your room to the song, you won’t be missing much in the music video besides people doing the same thing.
