think I am coming to Chicago for first show :0 trying to work it all out biggest hurdle was getting off work trying to decide between floor seats or section 100"s.......any advice? It depends on where the seats are and what you want. Best sound -- get seats in front of the soundboard. That is the center of the floor and back a bit. Best seat/sightlines: Section 113, Row 6. These seats are just in front of the stage and positioned at stage level for most shows, providing direct viewing of the goings-on. "In many instances it's almost like you're sitting on stage with the band," he says. Best/overall: Section 119, row 8. As Miley Cyrus might say, it's the best of both worlds in these seats, as they provide a great view of the stage and excellent sound. From here, "the guest will often feel as if they are part of what is happening on stage as well as the back of the house," operations manager Terry Savarise says. Also notable are seats in row 16 of sections 104 and 108, because the sound here is great and the stair configuration leaves you with no seats (and no standing people) in front of you, he said. Just for interests sake, I looked for tickets on Ticketmaster just now - and could have got a second row Floor seat for Chicago ( sect 3 row 2) for $170 or so - forgotten exact amount but I was amazed at the small price....second try was a row 11 for $155 ish. These offered as 'best available' as I can't do ' buy off map' on my ipad. Have I missed something? Why available and why so cheap? They do not have VIP Packages on them. These are the stray tickets the venue and brokers and VIPs don't want. The close tickets are single. Best 2 tickets are back in Row 22. The interactive map is now turned off at Chicago and will be off until these tickets are gone. LA Forum did this yesterday. I don't think MSG did it.

I just had my very own casual fan encounter in the Starbucks drive through! They are rare for me as I don't share that I'm a stan at all due to hypersensitivity to eye rolls. I had my newly opened 'Best of' CD playing and turned the volume right down because I was at the window. The friendly young server with very good hearing and taste said 'Adam Lambert! You're an Adam Lambert fan! I love his voice, it's incredible' Of course I had to agree and went on to inform him that Adam was touring with Queen this summer. He didn't know and was excited about that and said he would have to check it out as he loved Queen and all classic rock. He then said he was a LZ fan and that Adam's WLL was the best he had ever heard and he meant the idol version. I encouraged him to look up the youtube of the Foxwoods WLL. I was pleasantly surprised with his enthusiasm for Adam and the song WLL as in previous conversations with him I knew he had been a Seminary student and was going to finish his music degree at a christian college in the fall.

Wasn't around much yesterday....have been considering doing the usual Atop thing of 'upgrading' my Forum seat and hate to think that I missed any opportunity on single floor seats like this!

I did not see any floor seats in LA. They must have held back some more tickets in Chicago because it is the first concert. You can never depend on any tickets like these showing up. It is rare.

The catwalk ends at row 17 in United Center -- at least according to the map.

IF ANYONE IS LOOKING FOR SEATS IN CHICAGO -- LOOK NOW. They release some in Sec 1, 2, 3. There are 4 tickets together in Row 22 Section 2 center floor in front of the sound board. They should have great sound and are 5 rows behind the catwalk. "Only $154". One seat in Section 1 Row 11. Eight seats in Section 3 Row 21. Four seats in Section 2 Row 22. All are no VIP Package.
