Pushing to page 2 - but it looks like we already got there.
Anyway, just wanted to see where Little Richard might fit in to the pantheon of early rock 'n roll pantheon of the '50s & early '60's - examples: "Tutti Frutti", "Good Golly Miss Molly". Back in the "dark ages" of the '50's, he wore eye makeup and was unapologetic as to who he was - a very early LGBT pioneer. And for those of us who were teens back in the 50's, we loved him. I didn't know he is LGBT. Back then did people know that about him? |

We all loved him but I really don't recall any mention of his sexuaity back then. He was so much fun on stage with his costumes, piano (he could really play that thing), and his original style of music! Maybe others remember something different. He was so flamboyant and so much fun and he had such an energetic spark to him, and we loved him for it. |

i stood during the WAG WB concert & most of the 3 GNT concerts. But many others did not. I know Rock/Queen concerts are not the same thing, but I'm pretty sure there will be some non-hardcore people there who will not stand throughout the concert. And there will be people there who are not able to stand for two hours - I'm sure of it. :D I would much rather sit. Unlike many fans, I feel no impulse whatsoever to stand. I'm pretty sure I enjoy the concerts as much as others even when I'm sitting. I don't ever wave my arms in the air or dance either. But I'm internally happy. |
