Another comment from LAT review..
bpg100000 It all depends on how you define your job as a critic. Do you feel you have a social responsibility to rid the earth of Queen's music or do you feel a critic should report on the quality of the performance at a given concert. An interesting comparison might be to the genres of art music or jazz. While Chopin wrote music which he performed, his music has since that time been interpreted by thousands of musicians. Critics of our time evaluate the technical and interpretive skills of the performer. The thrill for the performer is to discover new ways to hear and feel the music. Good music can be played by a variety of performers and still remain relevant. The other day I heard the theme of one of the Bach Brandenburg concertos played as background music for a cartoon. It worked even in that setting. The same aesthetic can be used when hearing rock music of the past. I was at the Queen concert and heard a delightful sense of camp, brilliant technical skill, gut wrenching emotion, and imaginative showmanship. The wild response of the audience certainly suggests that Queen's music is not dead. If you attend a concert already disliking the music, to maintain your integrity, perhaps you should find another critic to write the review.

An interesting tidbit I learned from momtomany at the LA CONCERT was Adam viewed the film "Metropolis" in one of the film viewing tents at Burning Man the year he attended with Sauli. Adam's interpretation of "Love Kills" is far superior to the version in that movie. I wonder if the seed to performing that song was germinated at Burning Man. Adam has shown us many times that he thinks and acts ahead of the crowd. Aquarians tend to possess that trait.

Thanks. Unanimous that the reviewer had an ugly axe to grind

I'm sitting in my room at the Hard Rock in Vegas right now & feeling like I'm on another planet. It's going to take weeks to catch up on Atop posts from the last few days & watch all the vids from the LA show. It's kind of unreal right now because I WAS THERE. I saw all those glorious moments & I'll treasure that night forever. And I get to see them AGAIN for 2 more shows. I am so blessed & thankful for my life right now!
I've met so many Atoppers & we've just looked into each other's eyes & hugged & we all seem to know how special this time is. I just thank God & the Universe for letting us experience this together.
I'm finally hearing Queen's music live with Adam's indescribable voice & I'm speechless. It's just PERFECTION.
