Now on BBC Radio 1 @nowonradio1 58m View translation ♫ Lay Me Down - by Avicii amzn.to/1row78S #bbc #radio1 #np There seems to be quite a bit of play time for LMD over in Europe. One of the other boards says it has a July 14 add date in the UK so maybe it will see even more of an up tick then. Good news that it has been playing on Radio 1 for the last 3 weeks or so, moving from their C list up to the B list. With luck it can make the A list which I assume means it will get more rotations. (each list seems to have about 20 songs in it) I wonder if some of this may be due to the ice tea commercials! I love those!!

I think that it's very difficult to change the set list because the special effects (lights, smoke, etc.) are all coordinated with the set list. They might be able to add a song at the end of the encore but changing things in the show line up would be really difficult. So probably the most likely place a change could be made is if Brian throws in a few phrases of different songs during his guitar solo. Sigh. But.... but.... after 10 concerts I'm already starting to get bored with the same songs. And this is directly because I've watched way WAY too many vids. Well, if we can't have any new songs then Adam's gonna have to shake things up and do something totally radical and shocking like SHAVING OFF MELVIN. And dyeing his hair silver again or something.

I was looking for an old interview with Adam and stumbled upon a bunch of radio interviews from 2012 that I had not seen, or had not seen in a long time. Several had been posted just this spring by jadelle11. She has all kinds of playlists including one with 129 interviews! So, if you are bored, check it out. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6Yx9dcZ36qq2C-lOYsDVZ_e0AnoqENjv

I'm going to go big here and make a prediction - don't like this WGWG nor Sam Smith - therefore, I predict that both will be huge, or continue to be huge, sell tons of music, and be all over the radio all the time. Guarandamnteed - you have my word on it Mehitabel....Adam always says there is room for everybody. So don't let it bother you. They'll have their 'time to shine' and we'll be waving bye bye to them in a few years not remembering much about them. I know it gets frustrating at times but Adam's path, to me, really is one totally untraveled by others and he will make his own way on his own terms to greatness that will last...not be fleeting. I try to be patient on this journey but it is hard sometimes. A lot of the frustrating things is a lot of the current trends in music Adam started. I mean even Pharrell said working with Adam helped shape his sound. And I don't think it has not dawned on anyone the picture of DaftPunk, Pharrell, Nile at the Grammys earlier has some obsecure connection to Adam. Adam is a trail blazer you could argue he has opened the door for people like him. Yet USA choose to embrace artists like Sam Smith, when they have an artist who is arguably more talented and more too offer in their backyard, and choose to ignore him. It comes down to a variety of things, WGWG and country is huge in the states, one of the biggest selling genres in the world, and although Rock sold more then Pop last year, it was due to guys with guitars, unless Adam starts picking up a guitar and goes all country haha don't see that a path for Adam too. Adam is a new kinda star, he is becoming a genre in it self, eventually pepeople well wake up to him, and he well be the first artist ever to become a genre in it self the Adam Lambert genre haha.

(each list seems to have about 20 songs in it) I was pleasantly surprised to see that the song is already on number 42 of our official German single charts this week! YAY!!! www.mtv.de/charts/5-hitlist-germany-top-100/video/60825-auf-unsAnd yesterday evening a moderator of our radio station for Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg, R.SH, suddenly started to talk about Adam!!! She wanted to play "Lay me down" (which was already fantastic because normally they only played it in their request show for me so far and not in their regular program! ) and when she announced it, she suddenly started to rave of Adam and told everyone to check him out because he's such a fantastic singer, also live! And then she played about one minute of WWFM to remind the listeners, who Adam is! After that she played LMD! I squeed so loud and turned up the volume of my radio, poor neighbors, lol!!! BTW, I think that perhaps I'm "guilty" that the moderator seems to be a Glambert now, too , because every time she played LMD in her request show for me in the last weeks, I wrote a short mail to thank her afterwards and always added a few Adam/Queenbert videos! #ResistanceIsFutile #AnotherOneBitesTheDust
