Hmmm.... just a thought. Do you think QAL will drag along that big ass Q to Australia, NZ and Asia! That would be a real job ( and expensive, too!!) I doubt the Sonic stages are big enough for that?? I fully expect that they will! The seating plans for the venues show the same setup. Also for the NZ venue, has hosted full Katy Perry shows, Lady Gaga shows, Beyonce, Rhianna etc. I don't think it will be an issue, but it will mean slightly less seats - I expect about 10,000 for Vector Arena in Auckland (usually seats 12,000) |

Apparently Queer is now being used by many young gay folks. I actually went to a meeting to hear a gay activist talk and asked about using the word Queer. She said that many in the LGBt community are embracing that term. She said the word defines the whole LGBT Community.I was kind of shocked ,because i always thought it was a derogatory term. The speaker said people who are older have some trouble with the term. I'm older and I definitely thought it was a derogatory term. I have a hard time using it but if it's all right with members of LGBT community it's alright with me. I'll get used to it eventually. Could be one of those terms which is only acceptable when used by members of the community to which it refers. I don't think I would use it until I knew for sure that it wasn't considered offensive no matter who says it. |
