Wow somebody had his grumpy pills before he went to the show. But hey "pigs doing a jig" (not flying yet) because pretty low key #FLD and he really liked Adam... but us being us we are super protective of all our guys and so boo hiss to his Dr Bri and Roger pans. WTF. Nobody is allowed to criticize Dr Bri. And not allowed to pan Roger Taylor, either.

If they want to keep middle section intact it shouldn't be longer than 15min including Brian's guitar solo. Of course I have only seen this through live streams and youtube. Like this concert it's song after song without almost no pauses that's why energy levels were so high.

I read the reviews for amusement mainly. They tell you more about the person writing them than they do about the actual concert. What they wanted/were expecting, their tastes, their biases, even how they view the world by what they see or don't see. I don't mind any of them except when they cross the line into rudeness or plain arrogance - like one yesterday. Even the famous FLD (TM Bridgeymah) doesn't make me break into a sweat except when it's written in a lazy way, like sheep bleating baaa baaa baaa. This one had a pretty good FLD. Technically speaking, can sixty year old musicians play and sing like they did in their thirties ... no. He's quite right. And it matters to him. And then it started to get a little rude ..... there are other ways to "tell it like it is". I don't expect live concerts to be flawless, I like the humanity of imperfection, even the humility of it. Otherwise it's like having performing seals on the stage. Without the flaws there's no possibility for brilliance, like this .... (I watched it because technically it wasn't a 'song' ) I haven't watched any songs other than NIH or SCC and the wonderful UP where Roger kissed Adam's hand. So I don't know much about the middle section of the concert other than the photos and reviews. The comments have been split on this - too much, too little or just right and for some a highlight of the whole concert.

I can't judge about the middle section since I haven't seen it live yet (tonight is the first) but I did wonder if this iteration of Queen+ was more like the Brian May show? Not complaining about that. Brian and Roger can do what they want imo. I guess to those of you who saw QAL Europe/London, does this setlist have a better flow regarding the middle section?
Have fun, everyone in Philly.

If they want to keep middle section intact it shouldn't be longer than 15min including Brian's guitar solo. Of course I have only seen this through live streams and youtube. I have to disagree. Despite this yahoo's opinion...I think the middle section is just the right length. It's a real call out to the old school purist Queen fans in a way. It's one of my favorite parts of the concert, not because Adam is in any way bad but it's kind of like we are sharing Queen with Adam through most of it, but this is a nice little just Queen moment if that makes sense. I think 3 songs is good and then Brian's guitar solo is nice as well. Probably works better in person than on vid to be honest...BUT with that being said, I say keep the middle section as it is! The Brian/Roger sections are already shorter than during QPR days. In addition Roger would have had one or two more songs. 2005: Roger would come down and sing Say It's Not True Brian would come down and '39 (by himself) and LOML Brian would then do a slow/fast Hammer To Fall with Paul coming in on the fast section. QPR song Rog would get a drum solo into I'm In Love With My Car Brian gets his guitar solo Rog/Bri do Days Of Our Lives Rog/Paul do Radio Ga Ga THEN if they added Under PRessure (6 gigs) it was all 3 on vocals For Japan they added Teo Toriatte which was Brian/Paul AND in the encore added I was Born To Love You acoustic which was Bri/Rog in 2006 they took away Say It's Not True and '39 but added Under Pressure full on In 2008 with a different set, they did: Brian came down to do LOML The rest of the band (- Paul) came down to do '39 Bass Solo/Drum Solo Rog - I'm In Love With My Car Rog - A Kind of Magic All 3 (kind of like Love Kills) doing Say It's Not True) WHen they did We Believe sometimes Bri did the first verse Brian did his guitar solo (with Bijou and Last Horizon) When they added Under Pressure it was all 3 In South America they did Las Palabras De Amor which was Brian. SO in this case they are already doing less - please don't cut it anymore
