And uhhhhh...what exactly is Adam saying at 6:06...????? to close the song. Are my ears wrong?? "F---" ?? I have listened to this several times even before this post...and never picked up on the final consonant. Gettin' fired up in the church of Glam rock...yah I think it is just the end of a very long extended "LOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVuh"! LOL...figured someone would pick up on that pronto...and comment...but I WAS JUST NOT SURE On another note: Have to say...and did indirectly in one of my recaps. The most vivid memory I have of the Calgary concert was of Brian May. (not Adam) Brian in the laser bubble that looked 3D, playing away...(like in a true floating bubble) ...never seen anything like it...and I was NOT drinking!! I enjoyed the "middle section" as a reflection of their contributions to the creation of the legacy of Queen, and the fusion with the present Queen. I did think the guitar solo ...was long...but hey... Brian is the man....the man loves to perform....Brian is alive!!! (we know the history of his Dad versus schooling etc.) And I "freakin/frackin" got to see Adam Lambert perform in my home city and province...in a spectacular concert, with a spectacular set, spectacular lights and musicians. And it is all because of Brian and Roger...so they can do what they heck they want!

Thank you Maya for this...and a huge thanks to the poster for the kind words. Performers need skin like an armadillo to avoid the slings and arrows.

My first concert was in Vancouver and I really enjoyed all parts of the concert--I actually recorded part of Brian May's guitar solo on my phone (it was the only thing I recorded). It was amazing in person! I have been a Queen fan for so long, that I was unexpectedly emotional seeing Brian and Roger in person! I absolutely adore Adam, so I knew how I would feel watching him sing, but seeing Queen after being a fan for 30 years was something else, and I think the solo parts each of them had were great. The drum battle was cool (Rufus is really good) and I loved Neil's solo as well (I've always had a weak spot for bass players). I think the concert is great as is--partly because the uptempo sections are so in your face powerful that you really need a little break. The construction of the song set overall is really good. I really liked the Queen middle section live in concert. While I don't seek out those YouTubes, I really liked it as part of the show. In a way, It seems to me a way to help the die-hard Queen fans (the open minded ones anyway) to perhaps have a group memorial service time together. I think many have never had a chance to grieve properly, and this concert section (and borap) allows people to share this special remembrance and Freddie time with Brian and Roger, and provide for a little shared reminicing. In the long run, it may help some to open their mind more to Adam and help them move past the stages of grief. JMHO and who really knows. But that is how I felt, and it did bring tears to my eyes. While I really liked Queen music in my younger years - and now too, I was not a "fan". Only ever been a fan for one time, and that is now with Adam. In any event, it works this time around in concert. I do however, if they do the Q+AL new tour type thing in the future that they can move forward to either some fresh music, or a little less Freddie tribute time, since they are doing that now. But most of all, I hope and want for Adam to have his own single and A3. Have fun everyone who still has concerts to attend. I am jealous I only got one, LOL. Yeah I know, greedy here.

That's Brian's moment, right? And has he ever earned it.

Nile is in Europe at the moment playing at festivals and he was supposed to attend the concert in CT (Mohegan? on the 19th?). People keep asking him about it but his plans have changed due to a recording session. Now he says he's trying to catch QAL in the Meadowlands. Can you tell me what might that be? ???
