Thank you, Linda! I was going to add in If I Can't Have You also, because it was the very best example of what he told Simon in the Hollywood round about how he wanted to take a song and twist it up and surprise everyone. Simon gave him a dismissive, "Good for you" and Adam said firmly, "I can." And he did! Shhhhhhh, a secret! I like If I Can't Have You better than Mad World! His interpretation if IICHY kills me, tears! And Smokey's standing O was everything! However, I do think MW has become Adam's song & belongs in the Top 10, at the top! I have to confess: I love "If I Can't Have you" and I would put it before "Mad World". |

Okay, do we also need a list for studio recordings of AI performances? Because "One" is about my all-time favorite of those...
ETA: As to performances, I must confess that as much as I admired Adam's showmanship for "Mad World" and LOVED the standing O from Simon...I spend much of the last part of the song wincing with my toes curled in anticipation of that last note...he fixes it at the end, but still...

Okay, do we also need a list for studio recordings of AI performances? Because "One" is about my all-time favorite of those... "One" and "Feelin' Good" are definitely studio recordings that are better than the TV performances IMO. The list, as it stands at the moment has great songs, though not necessarily in the order I would put them. Just shows, though, what a great talent our Adam is. (And what a great Activity Director Q3 would be if she wants to add another career to her resume'.  |

I really found the one they published to be a bit off. No Adam fan would really pick "Rock City" as a top 10 performance. This should be the best Adam performances from Idol. And fans can best pick them. |

Hi Just want to share my Top 10 songs of Adam on idol:
Rank 1 - Mad World - best song ever. I was hooked to S8 AI when i saw Adam this song. Everything was perfect - song, costume and lightening. This was when i got totally hook on Adam. I remember that i kept watching the video clip in the other 2 idol forums that time. And i've watched the video again and again for weeks. This is when i started checking BOW and other songs that came before Mad World.
Rank 2 - Whole Lotta Love - a sexy song that he made sexier. Just blew me away. At this point, i just want Adam to the winner of AIS8. I think i drove my friends and relatives in the US mad as i keep asking them to vote for Adam. LOL!
Rank 3 - Born To Be Wild - this for me is Adam. He showed who he really is when he sang this song. Though i don't like his outfit, felt like he just woke up and put it own.
Rank 4 - Play that funky music - not a favorite of everybody but a funky song i really love. I like how relax Adam was when singing this song.
Rank 5 - Satisfaction - before this rendition of Adam i have no interest in Idol. My mom loves watching Idol and would ask me to watch and i would always say no, not interested. But when Adam sang satisfaction i stopped and took noticed. But i didn't watch again until i saw Mad World.
Rank 6 - Feeling Good - Muse is one of the bands i love. And nothing beats Adam strutting down the staircase while singing this song - it is sexiness overdrive. I don't understand why he landed on bottom 3.
Rank 7 - We are the Champion - he truly showed that he can sing Queen. It really showed that he is a star. I just wished we had a version without KA.
Rank 8 - Tracks of Tears - showed his versatility in singing and differentiated him from the rest of the pack.
Rank 9 - Ring of Fire - love Adam's version of the song and who can forget the slight flip of the shirt. LOL!
Rank 10 - Beth - sparkly adam. I fell from my seat (due to excitement) when i saw the costume and eye rhinestones.
