I wrote this in 2012 after first QAL and I will repeat it now - IMHO first of all there is need for a better backing band for Adam. Because the difference is just painfull to watch and hear and you can't really to evolve and iprove when you stick to mediocrity out of loyalty. And I really appreciate his loyalty. I too think that after touring with the Ferrari otherwise known as Queen, Adam will want the full musical dynamics backing him up, when preparing his musical offering. Just stands to reason, that Adam will want all the bells and whistles, after seeing the possibilities of what can be with Queen, who are known for being nightmarish about how to perform even a single note. Queen always had "rows" over how to express themselves via their music and held each other to the highest standard.

Yes, I want A3 to do better than Trespassing - I want Grammies and most importantly, I WANT A TOUR.

Thank you for posting here, I would've missed them otherwise! Awesome recaps! AND as a bonus I found Ladymaserati's review on the same page as Part 1! Wonderful!

The real problem is, where can Adam find a guitarist and drummer of Brian's and Roger's caliber to partner with? It would be great if he could at least convince Rufus to accompany him on his solo gigs. But there ain't any other Brian Mays out there waiting to be discovered, as far as I know. I think it would also help Adam if he can find a great songwriter to co-compose with on a regular basis. When two songwriters join forces, weak lyrics and wonky melodies tend to get dropped and songs get stronger because one writer is always pushing his/her collaborator to do better.

No, he can't find second Brian or Roger and I'm not talking about things that are impossible, but he can find better musicians, that's for sure.

Haribert, I think this point that both you and talon mentioned is very valid. But I am not sure how it could happen with Adam's eclectic tastes.

Well I said this earlier but like it or not he is very loyal. But I'm sure he must have people around him who advise him and he must understand the business of music may require him to change tactics. I just don't know if he will want to change musicians especially if they're his friends. He often talks about the fine line between business and integrity. As far as no musicians out there of Brian's and Rogers caliber I just don't buy it. There are many great musicians waiting to be discovered. But it does take time for a band to meld together. We can't forget Adam became the frontman for a band that has played together for years.
