I think you are presuming to speak for a whole lot of people, myself included, on how we view Adam and celebrity in general and I for one would prefer you didn't. Adam is an artist I admire. I admire his creative energy and his talent but I also admire his fierceness in speaking HIS truth. I have never felt anger or disappointment at anything he has said, even when I didn't necessarily agree with what he was saying. I have also never felt humiliated by anything he has said because his opinions are his alone not mine or anyone elses for that matter. I'm presuming nothing, I think that I just used not those words to say what bothers me that I should, but please forgive me, sometimes translating from polish to english can be very rough, and I'm doing this all the time because I can't think in english. I was talking about bigger phenomenon using Adam as example to whom people here can relate. Got ya. I did not realize you were from another country because I did not notice your location indicated that. Apologies for misunderstanding your words but again, everyone views celebrities differently so it might not be completely fair to paint everyone with the same brush. |

I think nonchallance's "we' is a general we, as in we the public. As a 2nd language English speaker and writer, sometimes pronouns are the most difficult to use. I didn't feel she was speaking about me. However, I also don't want to discuss the dirt bag in question either! I do think about Ashley, in all this, though. I follow her on IG and I have a high opinion of her. She seems to have high ethics. Wonder how she reconciles working for him?  I didn't know about this, I'm sorry. |

Ladymaserati8 - I really enjoyed reading your recap of your Melbourne concert experience - I had been thinking about you when QAL arrived in Melbourne, and so glad you went! - Also, good to see you again on Atop

hi red panda The complete shows were compiled with multi cams by Mark. I don't think he did anymore after Japan. Unfortunately some of his videos have been blocked. I am hoping he finds a way to get them up under different names so they are no longer blocked and I am REALLY hoping he does the Australia and New Zealand shows. Please Mark? You can find a place to host them and announce them discreetly here and on queen online. One word! VIMEO!  Didn't someone say yesterday, or day before, that their vimeo video was blocked or taken down? As she posted the link on page 4, the full concert Sydney video Red Panda was referring to was not a Mark Bowles multi-cam video, but rather a single-cam video by YouTue user XxSlenderMotoxX_2. I had not seen this video before, so hopefully he will post it elsewhere for download. You are right of course, but I notice that really to many people treat celebs like that. Lack of emapthy, I think. From one ponit of view they want celeb to be something like god, who know everything and is almighty, from the other cleb sholud be like we are, ordinary man they can relate to - how most of famous people don't go crazy with those kind of expectations, I really don't know. After writing it I feel a big wave of appreciation for Adam. |

Seems a bit early in the A3 era to be worried about Adam's band for his tour.
Adam has not even finished A3 yet.
Setting that aside, I care more about him touring with people that he wants to tour with. I would rather have a happy, inspired Adam than a different set of musicians.
I suspect that as much as I would love to see him hook up with a brilliant band, including an A-Level lead guitarist for his solo tour, I do not want to go to an Adam solo concert and hear long rock guitar breaks or have to suffer through drum solos. (Thinking of the GNT band, Longineau.) I would be very happy to have Zack return on keys.
I do not want Adam to turn into a rock frontman, I want him to remain the pop-rock chameleon that I love. So whatever else, I want Adam + a touring band + dancers + sets + costumes + a big show, not Adam as part of a band.

I think these would be hard to defend as posted for discussion or any other part of Fair Use. Queen (Brian specifically has done this) has been very gracious to fans and allowed audience videos and even full album copies to be posted on YouTube. Most contemporary artists understand that allowing video to be online is part of promotion. Most artists who came up in the 1970-1999 pre-digital era, this is less common. Thankfully, Queen gets it. |

And I am glad that Adam is well grounded enough to stay focused on the prize rather than be side tracked by the wide range of varying expectations from other people! |
