A gentleman never kisses and tells  In all seriousness though it is far more likely the DVD would be released just post tour - possibly around the same time as A3...Perhaps DVD March, A3 April. Brian and Roger can be very meticulous but they also can be rather quick if necessary. I mean you only have to look at QPR. With QPR, the first time around in 2005, they had a gig in May 2005 and it was released that same September on CD and October on DVD In 2008 QPR played a gig in the Ukraine in September and it was released in June of 2009. If they had recorded earlier gigs in the summer, a December/Jan release date would be more likely, however if we go by the more likely Australia date, that's where we say we won't see a DVD til March or so. It's possible that they decide to hold it back til next summer after A3. All I have talked to have said little about a release date beyond that it was on the table. >> I pretty much agree on the timing above. My findings match up pretty close to Q3s findings The only clarifications: 1. The concert film thing.. I would stress that as of now is that the "package" is a proposal from QP. That's a long way from what ends up being released. Quite honestly QP often have proposals that make Queen fans' mouths drop. Somewhere along the line by the time it gets to the shelf, it is a far more watered down product. SO I wouldn't count my chickens on how big this set is going to be said. ON THE OTHER HAND...the Rainbow project is one that did not get watered down and is just about what was proposed so perhaps that is a nice signal for the future... 2. Agreed. 3. That goes with what I've heard too...although mine wasn't quite as sure about it. If they had enough time a December window was possible but my guy seems to think there won't be enough time for them to approve it all. 4. My tour guy also says Milan won't be the end. |

What's this about QAL possibly going to Poland? Perhaps a clue from Live Nation Poland? I didn't realize that Live Nation had a "branch" in other countries. Wonder if they will set this up with VIPs, etc. like here in The States? www.facebook.com/LiveNationPL/p |

Well, heck. I bet she pulled down the DL link. She was kind of upset it was put on YouTube by the Hungary fans and listed her as the source. She said since it was being shown again on their pay TV, she was afraid she might get into trouble furnishing the HD download. This might screw up her plans to do more songs in the next airings. Hope not. Somebody suggested she should have put up a lower quality version, rather than this gorgeous version.

A little off-topic, but I have been watching the new television show from Amazon called "Transparent" about an older man transitioning to become a woman. The show stars Jeffrey Tambor, and it is truly excellent and thought-provoking. All the actors are great and it shows the complicated nature of family dynamics amidst change. Worth watching -- and here is the Adam connection: in the opening credits there is a young man performing at a family event like a wedding, and he really reminds me of Adam (when you watch, you will definitely know who I am talking about). www.amazon.com |
